I know this is an easy target but I found this comical:

Yes folks, devs play EQII.
Depending on the circumstances, they use raid-guilds to test raid content. There's simply no way to truly test high-end content without the use of guilds that intimately know raiding and other high-end content. This is not bad ethics, this is testing content. If you wish to speak of this, please contact your local admin (me) and leave bashing the developers out.
you get 1 star, at least they're making an effort now and yet douches like you still continue to bash em. way to go.
edit: put this shit in the carebear corner.. attention whore
Haha where? If by suddenly being "active" on the lame ass forums then no, what they are doing is damage control and of no real substance at all. If anyone needs to go to the carebear corner it would be you.

I like how Gnorbin completely misses the point. We know dev's use raid guilds to test encounters that's fine.
What everyone is pissed about is that a guild seems to have been given insider QA notes for an encouter to gain an unfair advantage on the live servers.
If you want to use a guild to test an encounter fine, but do NOT give them QA notes that should not be seen outside of SOE. If it is really necessary for the guild(s) to be given such detailed information that guild must forfeit it's rights to getting discoveries or world/server first kill bonuses.
