What the OP is trying to say is that the group killed Velkin and as soon as the group leader, Drothar, saw it was a master chest, he changed the loot options and assigned himself the Cartidcutter within seconds.

Its a shitty thing to do in a pickup group, and the OP has a legit gripe. He is trying to warn people about the leader who did this. At the same time, it reminds me why i don't do PUGS.

As far as I knew, if you had lotto going when the chest dropped, you could change the options all you want and it'd still be lotto.

So a tank who is too lazy to get his mythical and a swash who was level 75 at the time of the drop missed out on the item. /whogivesafuck. Need before greed means if you can use the item and it is an upgrade. Swash was not of level(so he could not use it), and the tank couldn't get his fabled quest item and would roll on a dagger. Plenty of retards associated with this thread.

We knew Drothar on AB as a general idiot and nobody really liked ever grouping with him for his thievery and idiocy. I wondered if it was the same one, and a quick check on eq2players shows him as being a new transfer to Befallen.

Sorry you ran into him like that. But, it doesn't shock me.
