First off, I dont think anyone is really saying he should be dead. This is a flame forum, if you can't tell the difference between a flame and a death threat/wish then go the fuck away.

Second, why is it that people that don't play the game anymore, make it a point to still post things on EQ2 boards and point out that they think EQ2 sucks in this way or that? I don't get it.

second statment) I was just pointing out that aspect of the game sucks and is the indirect cause of them sharing info and inturn the cause of this miscreants behavior. There was a time when you only shared info with very close friends and didn't need to share it with half your damn guild.

I cant anwser that for everyone that quit and still posts as all of them have different reasons and 90% of them dont give a damn about what you 'dont get' about that subject. but as for me personal I post to keep in contact and know how the game is going, because over all except for afew really shitty aspects like the afore mentioned one the game isn't half bad and I would consider playing it again if all else fails.

and none of this changes the fact that some tools got boned by a bigger tool because they carlessly shared there info with the wrong sort of people. I wouldn't wish it on anyone but they broke the rules, broke the EULA, and they paid the price.
