You do realize that this item is in fact better for an enchanter, therefor it is not a necro item at all and you should not of rolled. Since there was no chanter in the group, though however the crit will benefit the wizard more, you are a loot whore for rolling and should not of done so.

Having an Illusionist I explained to a group once that as we debuff mental (which it procs) and have super fast casting that PG should always go to the chanter.

Of course this was said in jest as no PUG is ever going to fall for that one.

Coming on here butthurt because you lost a loot roll just makes you look like a crybaby. Seems to be a lot of it going around recently.

Best thing to do is STFU, suck it up and keep going until you get it.

I ran through Vaults approx. 35 times before I got it. No point in moaning, just means anyone reading this may be more inclined to fuck with you now the next time it drops.

My experience with people like you in one of my last raidforces is something like this "let them get it so they don't start crying." There were wizards etc. which rolled on proc gear, i never get a piece of them cause they just saw.. "OOOEEEEOOO a proc and int i want have it" and the real funny thing is.. i even outparsed them ;)

Crusader has the same right to roll an that item, live with em..

You know... I don't play the game anymore but its posts like Saphnile's that makes me wish I was. If you are gonna say that a paladin shouldn't roll on a upgrade in a PuG then Onra here has the right fucking idea.

If you want loot to go to the class that MOST deserves... join a raid guild (that doesn't suck) that does officer assigned looting. O and just so you know... if something like this would of dropped in the raid... you probably would not of gotten it unless your officers showed favoritism.

I don't have any ill will towards Spahnlie...hell she is a fellow Canadian fury, but this thread is BS.

If you don't want people to roll against you for loot......don't do pickup groups. If you haven't learned that by level 80 then uhm.....I guess you'll never learn? I'm not entirely sure what would make you think somebody would decline an upgrade for themselves in a pickup group, I sure as hell wouldn't. I would roll against a mage for PG in a PUG without a second thought. Why? Because I would use it.

That item is pretty sweet for a pally, so to say that it is *better* for mages is really a matter of perspective. You willingly admit you don't know a damned thing about his class so you really shouldn't be the one to judge whether its better for his class or for yours.


Not to mention for this guy Hornfel, he will probably never see anything better for himself, since I've never even heard of his guild name I surely doubt they do any raiding.

Spahn, do yourself a favor, put your big girl panties on, admit you were wrong, and apologize to the poor guy for being stupid.
