The problem with your argument in this specific case is that the "conduct" is not simply being guilded with a botter, it is being guilded with a botter and stating they would never knowingly do so.

Hypocricy was the conduct being pointed out. I think LFG has clearly stated his distaste for botters here and other places, but I don't ever remember this rising to the level of "I will never be guilded with one." As a matter of fact he clarifies that in the same thread to which you point.

Let me just bring a few things to light about our guild.

First of all, Pouty is our fearless leader who plays EQ1. I am the leader in Everquest 2. Club Fu was not a dominant guild until I joined at the end of T5. Back then it was all about 7-8 people grinding our guild level up. The ones that played were from Club Fu in EQ live, who no longer wanted to play live.

Emma was guilded when the guild was very low level. Emma was good friends with Mutt, one of our first EQ2 members who enjoyed tradeskilling. Emma and Mutt talked alot together and made subs for eachother, etc. I don't know why anyone would say that Emma was only in the guild for the status items. Emma and Lilli live together. The two of them grinded out alot of guild status, even from 30-40, 40-50 and even 50-60. I don't know why it's believed Emma joined just to get guild level reward items.

Emma and I have had many arguments, here, there, and everywhere. Many times I was very close to just kicking him out of the guild. He's very stubborn. Ixnay was left guildless after a falling out with the previous guild we had been in together. I gave him a home in Club Fu until he wanted to go somewhere else. For a week or two Emma and Ixnay resolved their differences and became friends.

Ixnay accused Emma of botting. Emma accused Ixnay of botting. Again, no one actually brought any proof to the table. If anyone can prove to me that Emma is a botter, please do it, and he'll be gone. At the beginning of DoF when I built Club Fu into a raiding guild, I made a stance on tradeskill botting. Not allowed. A strict policy that if anyone broke, they'd be immediately removed with no chance of return.

When I had met Emma for the first time, he already had 6-7 tradeskillers capped out. I did witness tradeskilling in the middle of the night, but when I sent tells he was there. Emma lives with two other people, and the three of them all had the same goal: to make a maxed out tradeskiller of every profession. Sometimes 2 of them or even 3 of them would be tradeskilling away at the same time. But I never saw any evidence of foul play, because every time I'd send a tell, I'd get a response.

Now, I believe Illuminator can back me up on this one, for a long period of time I'd been LOOKING for excuses to kick Emma from the guild. He developed an attitude that he'd make guild orders once a week, during a 3 hour window, and that was it. Emma and I fought many verbal battles since then, and now we're on much better terms. He's a great asset to our guild. He and Lilli both craft anything we need, when we need it.

Now, like I said, if foul play is present, I'd appreciate some evidence other than he said she said they saw.

He sounds like an american with no accent. His wife also sounds like an american with no accent. This isn't some asian plat farmer, this is just a player who plays the "have the most money on the server" game. Look him up in EQ2 players and check out when he hit certain adventure levels and you'll see that he wasn't concerned with hitting the level cap at all except for with his crafters. Recently, he's been adventuring a lot more than he did in his past, but he still plays just as much as far as I can tell.

Emma and I weren't hateful towards each other until the incident where he attempted to level a weaponsmith secretly.

In the time after you left Descendants Feltrak, before you went to Fu, Emma asked me how to get in room crafting stations. That question came after an incident where he had left Lily dead on the floor in the Circle of Vaniki crafting instance (Temple Street) overnight, and the Freeport Crafting Channel was abuzz with comedy about that. So Emma realized that to prevent that sort of situation from happening in the future, he needed to get crafting stations, and to get them, he had to join a guild that was 25+.

He joined Club Fu to get his crafting stations, and thereafter botted inside his house with visitor access disabled.

He chose Fu, as I recall, because at the time there was only 2 level 25+ guilds on server, Bane and Fu. And there was no chance on Emma getting into Fu.

Now, if my memory as to that exact timeline is flawed in anyway, I apologize, but that doesn't change my crystal clear memory about Emma asking me how to buy pristine crafting stations after about the 5th incident in two months where he left a dead bot on the floor in a tradeskill instance overnight.

And the only reason Emma ever accused me of botting is because he lacked a better comeback. He had absolutely no grounds for making that claim. In my history playing EQ2, I've never failed to return a tell from inside my house or a tradeskill instance, immediately. Nobody else on Blackburrow ever accused me of botting, and not even once. That's because I was typing 120 wpm in the crafting channel during the entire time I was crafting, and pretty much always.
