Killing an epic x4 duo by EXPLOITING it IE knowing full well its behaving in a way it shouldnt as an epic and still killing it before it gets bugged and fixed is fucking exploiting. you can argue its not all you fucking like, Your lying through your teeth, if you can sit there and type out straight faced, that he wasnt taking advantage of bad coding to profit from it forhimself ...that is the definition of exploiting.

using memwipe to reset a mob is fine ....using it on a fight where the only thing hard about it is the adds to make them despawn is certainly EXPLOITING game mechanics to kill an encounter the way it was not supposed to be killed. raiders can usually differentiate between the 2
Aka Vyemm and Alzid was fine
Wuoshi and GB was an exploit ..the add despawned totally and was not fought, eventually it was fixed.

gotta agree I don't see an exploit here.

If it's simply because 2 people killed it, then where is the line drawn? Raids kill things all the time without being full. Would 3 people be aloud? How about 6?

If it's simply because this person is smart enough to move out of the mobs casting range to avoid being hit, then he's pretty smart imo, and if soe doesn't want that, it seems it would be an easy fix, don't root the mob. Not this persons fault at all and sad he got suspended.

But like alot of other things, it's all good till someone complains. And if enough people complain, or even one person complains to the right gm, anything can happen.

Have you ever sprinted from a mob until it loses Line of Sight and thus can't attack you? Congrats, you just exploited using the exact same bug according to your logic. Oh right, it's not an exploit either, neither case is. What is the point of a caster mob if not to use these kind of strats on?

Again, learn how line of sight mechanics work. If you're in casting range, but out of direct LoS, the mob doesn't move an inch. It prevents its casting.

Now I want to clarify your hair splitting here. Is it okay to use other enviroment factors to prevent other portions of mob abilities? Such as walls for knockbacks?

Additionally, is it okay for a player to use an in-game skill like a stun or a stifle to prevent a mob from casting?

If so, why is it so ridiculous to combine a little from column a and a little from column b to make the mob's casts get interrupted? Using the environment so the mob can't see you and thus can't cast?

Just clarify where exactly you're splitting the super-fine hairs for me.
