There's nothing wrong with making an epic caster behave like most competent player casters, but if you wanted it to be a joyfully futile experience then you should ask devs for their NPC-to-player damage ratios to better resemble their health pool ratios.

Otherwise it just marvelously demonstrates the flaw of the epic mob concept.

And capable of rapidly interrupting spellcasts.

Daray ain't exploiting the mob, hes just using the game mechanics very, very effectively.

Should it be possible for a boxed duo to take down a x4 however good that player is ? hell no, but thats Soe's fault in mob design.

The reason they gave for the suspension is also bs as well. We 3 grp thugga, pr and some of temple all the time... so i guess by the logic of the GM's.. we should all get suspended ??

Last tier i solo'd poets nearly daily, as did a lot of others, so we should all get suspended for that to...

Yes it sucks that Daray can effectively have this mob on lockdown and duo it.

Yes it sucks that the loot from these mobs is of interest to a guild of the level of CL, so that there is no way they will get left for other guilds to take down if CL choose to get there first.

BUT, I wouldn't call this cheating or exploiting - just bad SoE design. They chose to change the caster mob mechanics this way, and everyone takes advantage (or curses) that fact.

I do think it's bullshit to give Daray a suspension for "not killing the mob with enough people" - hell half the server should be suspended in that case.

And CL do not have a lockdown on all those Dominii type contesteds - various people from our guild have very often been involved in killing them since they first appeared, so they are obviously CL free on many occasions - hehe.

Sure I can't stand the stupid bickering that goes on every time contesteds are talked about - seems no-one can talk about this stuff without slinging stupid insults about "yeah well your guild sucks - bet your still stuck on X", and killing anything with an audience from another guild is just plain unpleasant with the stupid comments being slung all over the place. But that's just me - I accept that it goes on, and I'm sure some people just luuuurve the banter.

I got a lot of complaints in T5 for soloing Tundra Jack on my SK. I never got suspended for it, but they did end up nerfing my class so it was no longer possible.

These arnt tricks or exploits im talking about, If you paid any attention you would know there was a new game mechanic for caster mobs in RoK and they behave differently.

Playing a tank I had to deal with this shit in seb and other places. Maybe you should change your guild name to Oblivious if you are confused about what Im saying.

EDIT: I have never EVER cheated either.
