I know some of you might read this and think no big whoop, man up, kiddie shit, whatever. Take it how you will, it's two shitheads like these guys who ruin the community for new folks.

So I'm fucking around on my twinked Trouby alt who's about 50, I'm bored and I see a group heading into Nek castle for the Missing Mask HQ. Advertising that they're going to do the full run-through of the questline for anyone who wants to come. I got nothing better to do atm so I decide it would be cool to head in there. Haven't done the quest yet on my Troub and it's been a minute since I've been in old school Nek so I figure what the hell?

So I mentor down to come help these cats out and I'm 5th person in the group. We all zone in and pull a few trash mobs and we're obviously smoking the shit out of the mobs. But, Regnal, the Iksar Pally tank decides no, we need a full group. So he invites a Bruiser in her high 30's to come join. Right away it's obvious the chick is new to the game 'cause she's not even sure how to get to Nek Castle. But everyone seems cool with it so they help her get there and she zones in and we start.

To make a long story short, after two hours of shitty noob fucking tanking, horrible communication and a wipe or two Regnal, the Pally Tank and Xacklir, the Dwarf Inquisitor (who are roommates, it turns out) decide they're running out of time and only have about 15 mins left. Now up to this point these two have basically been attempting to lead this group through Nek to do the quest according to a walkthrough. Me and and the Illy who were in group both have level-capped toons and knew the castle and the quest like the back of our hands, but we played polite and kept our mouths shut. The poor Bruiser who they invited had only been in game a few weeks and was still struggling to learn some basics. Me and the Illy were doing our best to help her along while the other two assholes were busy running around like chicken's with their heads cut-off, not waiting to make sure anyone got updates and basically cutting down the Bruiser. At one point, fucking noobcakes Regnal even says, "If you can't keep up then get out." This after he's the one who invited the chick. I told him to chill the hell out and he kept his mouth shut for a bit after that.

So about the time they mention they only have about 15 mins left, they take the fuck off. The Illy is with them, and I ask about waiting for the Bruiser. No response. I tell the Bruiser to chill for a sec and run downstairs to see wtf. The assholes are killing through quest mobs without me or the Bruiser anywhere near them to get the updates. Now I personally could give a shit less, but it pisses me the fuck off when people blow off new people like that 'cause they think they're hot shit, especially when it's obvious these two fucking clowns are noobs themselves (At one point they also admitted to only being in-game a few weeks). The best part? My twinked Trouby was leading the parse by about 75%. rofl. Fucking kiddies.

So when I ask what the fuck they're doing, they say, "Sorry, don't have time to wait anymore. If she can't keep up, too fucking bad." or something close to that effect. At this point I tell them both to fuck off and drop group. Unfortunately with the Illy's help they dropped the last quest mob needed and started porting home, lol'ing the whole way.

The Bruiser sent me a tell afterwards and she felt like shit. Did my best to console her and keep her chin up. Like I said in the beginning, you may read over this and think big fucking whoop, noobsauce, blablabla. If that's how you feel then more power to ya'. Like I said, it's assholes like these two who ruin the fucking community for new folks and I really hate seeing that kind of shit go on.

I chewed their ass via tell hell after I split and the cocky fucks basically laughed it off when I said I was giving fair warning that a post was going up here. Would be great to see some kind of response to rub their smug noses in it.

So anyway, fair warning, blacklist Regnal and Xacklir if you're on LDL. Going to mail them a link to this post, can't wait to see if they respond. lawlz.

I will not disagree with what you said, for your right, we were impatient.

However, I will correct you on a few places.

1: When we started we told the group we had 4 hours (more then enough time to do a full Nek Castle run with a decent group)

2: We have played the game on and off since it's original release, want proof, i'll show you the vet rewards.

3: You did not leave the group, I kicked you. AFTER you helped us kill the bosses we needed and got yourself as far as us on the progression.

4: The bruiser is high 30s, and should know games basics. And I did stand in front of the place to start the quest and asked "Does everyone have it?" She was in the room and did not say no.

5: I am NEVER going to wait for Billy to spawn in the Gameroom and/or Chapel twice in one instance because somoene did NOT grab the quest from the crate when we first started.

6: When I return to Nek Castle, I am taking her with me and we're doing it from there. Regnal and I agree, however, being his 5th anniversary we could not continue.

7: Go F*ck yourself.

Was it just you four in the group? You mentioned, paraphrasing, 'good luck 3 manning the rest'. If it was 5 or a full group, what did the others have to say about it? Or did you not bother to /copy that part of chat?

If it went down exactly like you said, then it was just a cluster from the very beginning. But being as there is more than just one side to a story, I think there is a cutoff point in going back, like if you have killed the swine fiend (lord? been a long time since I've done MOTD), you say sorry, maybe next time. There are just points when you try to accommodate others and times when you have to leave.

BTW, as someone already said here, kiddies = retards. If you want to flame people YOU think are noobs this isn't the forum.
