Just curious, isn't there like a 10-30 second delay between a person actually going LD and the group getting the message that the person is LD?

eki is one of the best ppl ive met in game. however he does play on a calculator & goes ld all the time. im sure he saw the comment about ffa, hit accept to mute, then his calculator gave out again. he came back just as he always does. u missed out on some plat, big deal.

I never knew Ekiocu was in CL. I think I've grouped with him before, but I don't remember him ever really being a tool or anything.

As far as the LD thing, I can see that happening at stupid random times. It's happened to me before like that and I hardly ever LD.

Also, your options here are he either LD'd at a bad time after going all in on loots, or he was trying steel your loots and thus contrived an LD conveniently after winning and then felt guilty after recieving a call from someone in CL and then logged back in to mute the loots and give you guys your share. Nevermind that he had to be an ass to do the first part and then reverse his personality and turn into Mr. Swell Mc'Niceguy in order to hook you guys up.

5 people declined, 1 person looted and went linkdead. Lets not get carried away with how awesome my default UI is, or how everybody hates CL, or how much of a nice guy he is, or how much plat we missed out on. 5 out of 6 people knew enough to decline. I am utterly shocked that anybody has the nerve to defend this dudes actions. Well, anybody outside of his guild. This is the gaming community at its best right here. So you are all telling me that if an item that could sell for over 75pp dropped, and everybody in the group except for one person declined, and then that person suddenly went LD for the first time in about 2 hours, you would not be pissed off enough to want to bring it to light? Either way, be cautious when grouping with this guy. That is all I hoped to accomplish with this thread. But now, I am really curious as to the reasoning behind these people defending him. I mean come on. 5 out of 6 people knew. 5 out of 6. The perfectly timed LD was just icing on the cake.
