Jarsath Robe of Royalty drops in Maidens, group decides to sell loot rights and split plat, Ekioco loots and goes linkdead. After being called out in the channel, and Gaige defending him for whatever reason, Ekioco logs back in, mutes the item, and has us random 100 for it. He was obviously contaced after he went LD and told to come back and do that. Probably did not think we were going to be calling him out like that. Either way, we lost out on quite a bit of plat because of this stunt.

Looks like it was an honest mistake from the screenshot. Looks like he went LD before you guys decided to sell the loot rights. He probably had already accepted the loot because he stated FFA before you guys said sell the loot rights. So he probably assumed because the people that could have used it already had one in your group. At that point he goes LD and wins the loot. Seems he did the right thing and still gave you guys the option to random the transmuted item after the fact. Probably something you guys should have decided on before you killed the mob just for the above reasons. Instead of on the fly after it dropped. If you hadn't been going through the zone selling loot rights already, he probably thought he made a safe assumption. I wouldn't say he is at fault. Just a lack of communication.

Looks to me like he actually said FFA prior to anything being said about selling rights since all had it already. At that point he had probably already hit the loot button.

Linkdead could have been bad timing or the fact that he tried to LD out of the loot, who knows, but either way, I don't see this is being an intentional "screw you" to the group.

Although that is possible, it seems rather shady considering he didnt have any issues with his connection prior to going all in for the loot. However, after looking at the first screenshot again, I see that he did say "ffa then" after the mages said that they both had it. Regardless, he was hasty for a reason. Him being a transmuter, he wanted to mute the fabled piece naturally, so he went all in before anybody had a chance to throw the idea of selling it out. The sudden LD is proof he had an ulterior motive.

Ekioco is a great guy, probably the nicest I've ever known in game. He unfortunately plays EQ2 on a night-bright set and LDs periodically.

Quick question...was he transmuting other shit that had dropped for your group in the zone? He probably wasn't aware of the worth of the robe and just clicked to transmute like all the other crap then unfortunately went LD.

FFS some people really try too fucking hard to make rate-a-retards. I'm sure it made your day to finally have something to come here and post about.

Wow Sherlock, your intuition is amazing. Of course he wanted to transmute it asap because here in CL we never transmute anything. It was the first time he'd ever get to transmute a fabled item omg!

TBH Eki would've taken the plat I'm sure, had he known you guys were going to sell it. I thought you were assfucks before I saw the screenshots, now I know you are.

Rag on anything someone with a CL tag does more plz!

If LDs are proof that Eki has ulterior motives, he must hate us because his toaster with a viewscreen sure LDs enough while we're raiding to prove as much, haha~

Woah woah woah! Calm down there guys. I love how Gaige is so quick to throw his guild out there everytime somebody is called out. Nobody said anything about the guild this guy was from, so why the hell do you always have to turn everything into a "everybody hates my guild" thing? It is far from that. If he goes LD often, ok then. I dont know this guy. All I know is he went LD one time the whole zone, and that is when he hastily looted the chest. You guys kill me with the name calling too. I was not disrespecful at all in my initial post. I was just simply bringing to light that there may be somebody on the server that will loot chests and go LD. Granted, I guess I was being a bit greedy myself in wanting to sell loot rights, but I was in favor of 5 out of 6 people of the group. 5 people declined, 1 person went all in and then suddenly went LD. LOL, im really sorry for offending everybody that went off on me. I have no idea who you are and im sure you dont know me, so why all the hostility?
