Crying over a lvl 40's fabled item when pretty much all the mastercrafted from that tier have far better stats = the yawn. Go grab yourself a nice Ebon piece or lvl whore it to 52 for Cobalt. And next time make sure loot rules are damn clear before you start killin any named.

Remember, one of the reasons this site was founded was to be able to call out dipshits for pulling crap like this. If this is the player's main, and it certainly sounds like it, they may not be able to afford ebon or cobalt right now. And that is still beside the point. The templar was a complete assbag for looting it when usable by the paladin. NBG tends to be the rule rather than the exception, yes even in pick ups. Not everyone has a level 80 to twink alts with. Hell there are even level 80's who are pretty broke. Especially if they don't raid and aren't farming PR, etc.

I dealt with something similar in a COA run last nite, none of us needed any of the gear from here, was basically a fast run at the chance of masters dropping, so we agreed to mute the drops (if none was needed on the off chance).. all was going accordingly until gussets of sanctification dropped (for those who know its tradeable) and everyone but the muter and the mage declined (didnt know the mage rolled till after he won it) the mage explained that his alt needed it , so while a bit put out, we gave him the benefit of the doubt, we then went and killed the next name and lo and behold , gussets of ravaged onslaught drops and we decline it for the muter , and what do you know, the fucking mage rolled and won that as well, so we asked him which of the gussets would suit his tank class better and he claims to have two tanks that can use them (at this point im just not believing a thing he is claiming) again we just move on and finish the zone, 20 minutes later im checking broker before i log off ( and to see if he put them on the broker) and sure enough , both were on the broker. shit like this happens, im not happy about it, and im sure i could post a thread about it, but 2-3 months down the line, no one will remember (except me of course, i remember every tard ive ever pugged with). basically trying to say you have good pugs, bad pugs, and some pugs where the majority of em are good folks but you get the special short bus retard in it.
