Lion is a good player, he excels in groups and questing on all his toons, well above the average nub I've come across. He has plenty of ability, the main thing that bothers people is communication. I personally got pissed off at him once and was cursing him out in front of peeps, but that was when he was drunk =p

If you take a min to talk serious with him I think you'd see he does have a lot of knowledge and skill, but if someone else isn't on par with their job he might say something about it, cause it gets frustrating when you feel like your entire raid is wiping and people aren't trying their best etc; but course there are better ways to handle it, can't disagree there

I think Legate and Lion are both great, both have been good friends and solo healed me through plenty of instances. Try working out bs as adults, you're a lot better than this boring flame bullshit =p

I do remember that night when he was drunk though and you cussed him out over vent... I believe about 50% of Fatal peoples we're screaming all at the same time trying to piss him off bad enough for him to remove himself from the guild since you couldn't bring yourself to do it, but that's another story...

I don't feel like going back to like page 5 or whatever, but yeah... There was mention of him "auto-attacking a mob while still obtaining second on heal parse while being immune t stifle and stuns." Yeah... I wasn't there but I sure as hell turned my chair around to watch that encounter.... I believe it was called Venril Sthir... And yeah that Sanctuary had run up a good 3 minutes prior and he was still Auto-Attacking Venril...

Lionhearted/Winterblast/Overkiller are all on my perma shit list (ignore list) in game...

He was always muted on my vent, but I can testify to the thousands of screaming children in the background and overly obviously clinking of beer bottles.

He healed scout group for the better part of Kiele's stay in fatal throughout EOF era, since she was in fact the better templar... And the healer parse showed nothing cause us scouts were always dead.... Then an inquisitor came along and took his spot and he was placed into OT group, where he still probably sucked, but you just couldn't tell because there was a warden or second healer of some type there to do everything he should have been doing, but was instead.... throwing cross heals to MT group, or anywhere else someone was at 98% health.

I feel it necessary to also point out that this "player" with SOOO much knowledge of the game... Tried to run a pick-up raid on his paladin, Overkiller... This is how that went.

Overkiller says: "Blah blah blah stand here I tank there blah blah blah..."

Raid says: "WTF O.o!?!?"

Overkiller says; "Incoming in 10!!!"

1 second later... ... ...

Overkiller casts taunt on First Name in PR
Overkiller dies from 10k of retardation
Raid has died from 10k of Overkillers Retardation

This went on for 5 minutes and everyone left and created a DIFFERENT thread on this site to flame Overkiller for his nubliness.

To answer Kiele's question... The above scenario is why Lion is not able to even consider CL as a suitable guild for himself.

I also remember this guy being quite a pervert in level chat one fine afternoon as he was telling another player (can't remember his name atm) that he watch him jerk off to a penthouse in the bathroom...

The reply from the player he had said that to mentioning he was only 17 did not stifle his lude comments, or even halt him in his endless struggle to prevail as the biggest fucking idiot.

Damn I wish I had taken more screenies. I totally saw this thread coming. 5 stars!

Thing is, being good at playing your toon is only half the requirement to having a happy and successful life in a guild....

And here is where I think the problem is - it appears that Lion's "problem" is more his "social skills" for want of a better term - than his abilities as a player - which, lets face is, is always open to debate/flame for anyone...

Even those posting in vague support of Lion - do mention that he has a way of rubbing people up the wrong way when he opens his mouth, which basically means he isn't gonna be a good fit for 90% of the guilds on the server who are trying to raid.

Kiele still is mighty fine at healing. So is Legate from my experiences on my Shadowknight. (I stay the hell out of 70's chat) Attacking their playstyles seems kind of weaksauce.

I've never really grouped with Lion to the best of my knowledge so no damned idea there.

Although I do blame Kiele for my deaths when raiding now! O.o

Some guild will pick Lion up, and hopefully he doesn't get to burned out cuz of this thread and continues to play.
