IMO, if you apply to one of the top end game raiding guilds {NPU, Confirmed, etc.} Exceed their expectations or get ready to have your ass handed to you.

Guild Leaders and officers of end game raiding guilds are expected to be assholes to make sure apps don't cry and /quit. I'm sure non of them are purposely being malicious to an app for no apparent reason or just to feed their enjoyment. end game raiding guilds are the best at what they do because they have people who know their class inside and out and have thick skin. Just my 2 cents on this.
