It isn't limited to NGD although the tard fest has really gotten out of hand. For S's and G's I jumped in a few things but realized trading my IQ for not being bored was too stiff a price.

But other areas are equally as inane. The same shit keeps coming up week after week:

* I lose good loot so lotto is broken or being hacked
* Broker prices are too high
* What class should I play
* Why do raiders get all the good stuff
* Plat sellers, farmers and bots (oh my)

Within the threads, you have special breeds of stupid. These include:

* Quoting entire posts without editing. I especially love when a post has quotes of quotes of quotes so that one response takes up an entire page. Bonus points for the tard that quotes an entire page just to say "I agree."
* Horribly worded and atrocious grammar from supposedly english-speaking people. It is sad when someone whose native language is not english has better written posts.
* The extreme over-use of "LOL" and variations thereof.
* Kendricke
* EULA or forum rules being quoted as though they are some holy scriptures and if you don't expressly follow each and every missive, you will burn in hell for all of eternity.
* Mod's that lock threads simply for the sake of doing it or jump into threads where they really have no business.

I have really noticed the last one lately. Perfectly reasoned posts back and forth and Starry jumps in ordering people to stay on topic.

i think one you have to add is the random deletion of good posts. ie) i make a list of the best brigand gear and why, it gets deleted, some nub makes a post of the gear he thinks is the best (which includes things like legendary forarms..) and it stays up... the someone posts asking where my list went, and it gets deleted... hahaha, go sony and retarded mods

Ok, what I'm saying is I've tried really hard to make the rules and situation between this site and eq2players different enough so that non-NGD AND NGD people can both use the no-topic section of this site without feeling like the deck is stacked against them. I'm saying that I really believe the no-topic section on this site (Everything Else) can work, and is fundamentally different from the no-topic section (NGD) on eq2players.

I would really appreciate if you could help me out and at least give this a try.

I'm not asking you to like anyone, or to let go of any hostility or negative opinions you may have. I'm saying, think of this like broccoli. Could you please do me a huge favor and try this before deciding you don't like it and can't swallow it without barfing.
