Our raid leader was a little out of his mind on pain killers when we were fighting the Boss of Lyceum, he switched stances and he got confused which it was. Over Ventrillo we hear the command, "HEALERS NUKE!" Well... needless to say nearly every healer opened with their damage spells and stopped healing. Thank God lay hands was up and I popped it and a Marr diety ability and kept the tank up until the healers realized what was going on and returned to healing. Not sure how we pulled that one off, but we did. Now, we can hardly do a raid without some jokester announcing "healers nuke!"

BAoW one night < this is all secondhand I was sleeping> Anyways, Tank is talking in vent announcing pull, no response. Gives count down, pulls. No one moves says well I guess im doing this alone. He dies starts hollering, vent lag wears off and everyone hears the pull the death and the aftermath at once. I dint think weve done that zone since.

So are you calling your raidleader dumb for being on painkillers? or the dumb ass healers that listened to him and quit healing?

Funniest thing I ever did on a raid was in T5 while I was in Descendants on Blackburrow. I FD'd Mordecai while he was tanking Fist in Lavastorm, I believe it was. Before LU13, a bunch of the damn icons were the same, so it was hard to tell what was what.

I think my crowning moment was running up the wrong side of the ramp in CMF to trigger the adds. Clock is running, everyone is telling me to hurry...and I find myself on the wrong side. At that point the raid leader had run up the other side and activated the right one. So I go back down and stick it with a few arrows and at about 10% run to the ramp again to trigger the second one. Run up, hit f8 and proceed to inadvertantly hit my default action button which is mapped to my mouse. Well sure enough I had the wrong mob targeted.
Total cluster fuck, and I was mortified.
Then, just this week, I get the chance to redeem myself and get assigned wake up duty again. So we get Mad Ctzika (or w/e his name is) to 15% and they tell me to run up and activate the add. I haul ass up the ramp (the right way this time) and as Im running behind the big guy, I sorta notice that there is no add behind him. So i run up the ramp (the RIGHT ramp this time) and turn around and sure enough, no adds.
And the whole time I was having flashbacks to that first incedent. And agian i hear in vent, hurry hurry, pull now...So Im sure everyone heard this timid voice from me over vent, "Ummm guys, they're not up, I dont see them" I'm tabbing like crazy afraid that maybe its this rendering bug issue ive seen lately. lol
Needless to say, I was relieved to hear someone else confirm that they were not up and apparently the zone had bugged.
Anyway, we gave the big guy a half hearted attempt until we wiped and let it reset. Then next pull they popped correctly and I managed to activate them flawlessly.

I used to play EQ2 on a pentium 3 "Atari" Brailyn thought it wasn't possible! but sure enough, it was! I was a retarded raider because on my pentium 3 the mob would be at 40% on my screen and dead on everyone elses.
