Nothing, under all circumstances there is absolutely not 1 thing you can do about this. The best that has been implemented to circumvent this is a monthly guild split so at least the leader can only make out with 1 months worth of booty rather than more.

It better to minimalize the risk than say "fuck it, if any risk remains lets just protect ourselves 0." Just because my wife could drain my account doesnt mean im going to leave my cash on the doorstep.

This guy stole maybe 25plat tops? Thats giving beneft of the doubt adept 3's are not a liquid asset. Big deal. You can make that up in a couple days runing instances with 1 group.

Either way he's a thieving little bitch who should have his hands cut off - it's not the value of the items per se (though a lot of Guilds cant afford to lose that amount of items - who cares that it's "only" 25plat now - well you ALL should because one theft leads to another and when he's stealing from YOUR Guild you wont be so blaise about it), it's the fact that he can steal from his Guildmates and then laugh about it. So his old Guild leader is an arse for being too trusting? - well a lot of us have had to learn that lesson the hard way. Flame him for being a nice trusting guy. One area where Sony and I disagree is the treatment of pondlife such as this thief - ban the bitch - permanently. And his new Guildmates are arseholes to take on board this kind of scum - maybe it's a case of like being attracted to like.
