since when is pulling a part of tanking? eq2 is so fucking ass backwards.

L2 chain pull, if you don't suck you can clear that zone in 20 minutes.

OMG seriously? So everyone is fucking doing it wrong and you're doing it right? It must be a terrible burden to be so much smarter than everyone else in the game. Forget about what works best, clearly the standard to use is "what worked in EQ1" cause EQ2 was basically an expansion pack for EQ1, right? BTW, I can't seem to find the bell to get back to EQ1, was I supposed to buy that game first to have access, or was it included in RoK? I was hoping to jump over there, level up to 100, or 150, or whatever the cap was, and come back to eq2 and wtfpwn naggy.

I use to make scouts pull for me. If they couldn't pull i'd kick them from my group. Is that wrong?

In EQ2? Yup. Cause then it takes longer to kill the mob while the healers have to pause and rez the dps class because you suck too much to keep him alive if he has to pull. Not to mention the likelihood that since they can't take a hit as well as a tank, the healers have to start healing sooner, which makes it more likely to get social aggro. Unless the scout is sacrificial and the healers don't try to heal them. But in that case, you're back to the first problem of having to res the DPS. Then you have to hope you can stay alive while the healer rezzes instead of healing, and if you suck that much as a tank that you can't pull, I'm gunna guess your gear is shit and you can't survive. It all adds up to everyone wiping except for the 1 assassin in the corner who doesn't engage until the tank has aggro (which never happens on half the pulls). But thats OK, everyone has their jobs on the Clusterfuck Pull (tm). The assassin's job is to rez a healer ... if the healer remembers to hand out res cookies after every wipe that is. In essence, you kicked the scouts for NOT being retards, and frankly, you did them a favor.

But really if a tank can't get aggro off a mob that's been hit once, or just body pulled, then you've gotta wonder wtf that person's playing that class for. Obviously, tanks pulling is ideal, but you're pretty retarded if you think anyone other than the tank pulls = someones death.

LOl that reminds me back in the day when i played my assasin if the fucking tank took to long to come back from afk id pull a mob and then click the deaggro and watch that motherfucker die!

Once we had a loot whoreing wizard in our group in cazic thule.. he would roll on everything even masters needed by the classes in the group so i just freaking put my hate transfer on him when we pulled the mobs id let him cast couple nukes then click deaggro and watch his ass die everytime. He was to dumb to check his buffs out i guess.
