Preface: So I needed a few loams for an alt of mine and figure--hmm maybe I will head out to Lfay instead of the doing the Sinking Sands routine. I hop down the hole of the Myconid caves, gather the shinies at the entrance and find the first metal node. Hit, hit, hit, and start off to look for more. A character runs past me on a warg in the opposite direction and not more than 10 seconds after our passing I receive a tell from him. Here's the whole thing:
So let's see what we have here.
1. I have to explain to a random person in my area (who I only ran past) if I plan to harvest nodes in said area.
2. He is in the area for over 2 hours already and has declared this as HIS domain. So I need to show him courtesy.
3. I am then accused of node stealing (I had just entered the caves and had hit one node- we had not even seen one another yet).
4. I am then classified as a line-jumper in a grocery store (because of course
>I< am the one with an ego-centric attitude here). Then later told that I "slammed him into the wall on the freeway" and claim it's his fault. Wow, these analogies are VERY fitting to the situation.
5. Declares that I will be flamed for not respecting another player if we take the subject to public channel.
6. I either need to leave, or get reported. (You know, because I am being the intrusive, egoistic tell-helling jackass here.)
7. He was "damn near" kissing my ass trying to be polite. right? RIGHT? /snicker
8. Ahh... I think I have to cry into my pillow tonight, someone put me on ignore and has to write to tell me. (Because you know, he THOUGHT he had me on ignore already).
Ok flamers, burn me or him or both... we need some drama on Mistmoore anyhow. I'm just trying to contribute.
