And as far as personal opinion? While my opinion of the reasons why he was made a mod were just that, I'm fairly sure anyone who followed the recent clusterfuck on this board would have to see where my statements regarding Gaige's character are based on fact. Specifically, the petty screenshots of conversations with Raijinn and the mod boards, as well as his own comments regarding his sexual exploits. Those are actions that will have negative consequences for people who once regarded him as a "friend."

I think both of you are missing the point. it isn't that you made an opinion, it was a good opinion that you are very entitled to. Its the fact that some Fan boy has proclaimed that you kicked someone else's ass because you made your opinion known. If it had been you Dar that said 'I kicked his ass' I'd say you were egotistical. But since it was shipwreak he is, in my opinion, a fan boy as posting your opinion is not proof of an ass kicking.

LFG has nothing to worry about and I'm sure he knows it.

As for "holding onto private correspondence" - anyone who logs msn/aim/yahoo is doing the same thing as I did. I just screenshot it because logs can be tampered with so easily. In the internet world people are only as honest as the text they type. In the case of the MSN mssgs from Joel, they weren't screenshotted until the very end when he threatened my play account which was seperate from my mod account because I posted here.

"If you post on EQ2Flames you're play account will get banned if you aren't careful".

Which is hypocritical because Sav posts here /shrug.

Fuck that. I'm not having some EQ2 team member blackmail my play account for actions that had nothing to do with it.

As for why I was a vol mod its probably two reasons:

1) I had talked to Ryan about it at the Community Summit I crashed (thanks Radar) in San Diego.

2) I'm a 30 year old adolescent and I don't like anyone getting special privelages I don't have. Especially when those people have access to a private forum which is essentially a place to talk shit about other players/posters where they can't see it.

Oh, I got your point. The difference is, I acknowledge that what I posted was my opinion, whereas you are trying to present YOUR pov as fact.

And you will find I will call Dar on something just as quickly if my opinion differs from his. And he and I HAVE butted heads in the past on other forums. Posting that I agree with him once is not fanboy, it''s agreement. In this case, strong agreement.

See now THAT I couldn't agree with more. Holding his play account hostage to anything not done on said account is dirty pool, back room tactics. It's fundamentally unsound and SHOULD be considered reprehensible.

Doesn't mean I agree with anything else he says, but that right there is spot on in my opinion, of course.

To my knowledge everything I have posted is Fact. You did proclaim someones ass has been kicked based on someones stated opinion as shown here.
And then you go on to admit it was indeed just an opinion, as shown here.
Now, is it not true that proclaiming you have kicked someones ass or have owned them when you clearly have not presented any fact or evidence to back that statment.

The FACT is you Quoted this, and said he kicked ass. When that statment was just an opinion.

If you had quoted this then you may have bee correct.
