I would not have handled it in the same way, but I will also not criticize her for using her best judgement in handling an impossible situation when so much shit was coming at her at the same time. It was more than a person in her situation could be expected to handle.

I've now changed the Rules as previously discussed, nobody is ever gonna suspend anyone in a situaiton where we have a riot and maritial law must be imposed. No, instead, I've instructed Calthine to put the site on a one hour time out instead.

I read exactly what you wrote above. The only personal attack I made against any Disso member was Quenthal. You want me to apologize for that? Ok. I'm sorry I called you a stupid whore, Quenthal. And I sincerely am, it was unprofessional for me to say, even if I meant it. The only other person I attacked was Pryz, but I felt justified in saying what I said after he first introduced the issue of competence by saying that he could think of several other shaman off the top of his head who were better than I was. I responded in kind and he got butt hurt. I would never have never given him my honest opinion that Skratch was a better assasin than him had he not introduced the subject. That's justifiable, quid pro quo, self defense. I will not apologize for that.

For the rest, I only took action against a couple people that night - Flauos, who I've spoken with and exchanged apologies with, and then the porn posters. I will not apologize for banning Ishbu, Quenthal, and Widem for directly posting porn on my site, in intentional violation of the Site Rules. I'd ban them or anyone else for doing that again, and in exactly the same way. But I'll also unban them if they contact me and request that, and agree to follow the rules. I went much farther out of my way with Ishbu than I would have ever gone with anyone else to offfer piece, and he basically spit in my face with my offer, so as far as I'm concerned, he can go fuck himself in the ass with an Iowa corncob, since I hear those are big.
