I think you're going to find that we won't be moderating any differently than we have. But a two-week "discussion" on the application of the rules that chased lots of uninvolved users from the site won't happen again.

Making the site a better place for the majority, IMO.

You are a member of Dissolution and the discussion going on about LFG is on your guild forums. Remember how you said if Vagabonds yells the Rumbler and I'm not even online but I'm playing Xbox360....

I already explained my views on it too, however only one of those views holds any precedence. In the end no matter the presentation, no matter how noble the ambition, no matter what promises were made... LFG owns this site. Its his. He pays for it. (I realize he gets paypal donations, but I'm pretty sure he just invests most of that money back into the site - I could be wrong however, just saying).

You can openly disagree all you want. I'm glad you brought up the SOE forums. I don't think anyone agrees with how they're ran. But SOE says use them or leave. LFG is saying the same thing. Does it suck? Yeah. But people have proven unable to live in a rule free environment and that they will stoop to whatever immature level possible in order to "payback" LFG. So LFG's naivity in hosting flames forums comes to the forefront, but hey hindsight is 20/20 and at least he is making the changes he deems necessary.

Does everyone agree with the changes? No. However everyone who doesn't like EQ2Flames now or the direction its headed in is welcome to:

1) Leave
2) Start their own site.

If I say Dissolution and it doesn't apply to you, then it doesn't apply to you. However you wear the tag so when I make broad statements about the guild or a few/majority of people in it I'm going to say Dissolution. Get over it. If its not about you or you didn't do what the post is implying, good for you.

If you feel that an open and unmoderated EQ2 forum is very important then start your own. You and Razieh already stated you have knowledge about running forum communities and you helped set this one up. Hell with Team Disso mostly banned you'd have a nice drama filled community from the beginning. Then you and Team Disso could prove to LFG he is a nobody!

I think I did but I might have missed some, I ate too many nachos and I think I'm peeing out of my ass for most of today, so I was semi afk in the middle.

Gaige I could go around posting "If you don't approve of this thread/idea, just leave" on every topic on this site, but you know what, that is not the point of a flame site. LFG is inviting flames and drama in these forums, and I am fully complying with his wishes. Under his, batshiat, rules.

I agree with the former. The latter takes the events of the past weeks completely out of context.

In review, I conceed lumping you in with Kurizo, Itoock, Ishbu and others my be disingenous. At the same time, much the way LFG is now being held accountable for Vagabonds past sins (according to your own post) and Draydin is marred by CL's past misdeeds, you are guilty by association.

Lording it over your head? I said it once, and in a VERY minimalistic fashion. I have not bothered repeating it since. Not to mention I was consciously referencing being told about it long before it came up and providing requested forum theme feedback. Once again, LFG, when you feel attacked emotionally you take it way to the extreme. Congratulations on being so fragile.

Even if that is true which I really didn't think it was, its wholly irrelevant. Many users participated in the creation of this site, including Ishbu and probably 10-15 other people when the site first went up who provided theme feedback. This is what I was talking about, as I added to my post above (but got quoted too fast to show added change).
