It's not, it's fucking annoying.

Can any of you explain to me what is the point of using a color that's harder to read than the default?

Don't bother replying if your answer is in purple, turquoise or a soothing shade of aquamarine.

It makes it look more uinque. Only time I would complain about this is if it is unreadable.

This is what I do every time I install Mozilla Firefox.

Click Tools on the menubar, then Options. Then on the Options window, click the Content icon at the top, then the "Colors..." button below. And I UNCHECK the box that says, "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above".

Feel special with your stupid bullshit My Little Pony colors? Too bad, you fucking say-nothing meatheads, I just see black and white.

I don't use colored type unless I'm in a chat room where color is an option, or I need to highlight my own text so it appears different from someone elses, in which case, I always use red. But for those that choose to, as long as it's not a color that is difficult to read, I don't care. *shrugs* It reminds me of women who use a signature perfume, some people just like to use a signature color..Like Kiara and her purple.

Just FYI, a warning to all my friends, I'd hate to have to shoot you down for this... but if you use Comic Sans fonts for anything at all, you will be perceived as a dipshit. This tip comes straight from the corporate world.

I have over 600 fonts on my computer, unfortunately they don't show up to people who don't have them installed, so I just use them in photoshop for effects.

I can't see red without thinking of you, hon. Sort of pavlovian at this point.

As to the original gripe about coloured text. don't like it? don't read it.

I happen to like purple. That and the consistent white on black hurts my eyes. So I break it up for my own benefit and cause I like the colour.

Come up with something better to whine about please. This topic has been done to death in another thread in this forum.
