Hey folks:
This is merely a request for your voluntary cooperation. This isn't a rule, I can't force you to be nice to anyone, that would go against the entire purpose of this site.
As a reminder, you can post anything you want here, as long as you don't violate the
Site Rules , which basically prohibit illegal, retarded, and destructive behavior.
And as always, feel free to flame anyone you want in this section, anytime, as long as you try to keep it to one post about a person at a time here.
But here's what I'm asking you to consider. When you don't like someone, is it necessary to follow them around in every single post they make in every other section of this board, just to call them a dickhead at every chance you get? I don't think that's productive or adds entertainment or interesting material to this site at all.
We have attracted, and will hopefully continue to attract, some posters who are notorius within the EQ2 gaming community. I'm glad they post here, seriously I am, because it gives all of us fun and interesting things to talk about. I look at all of this as a game, and just find a lot of these people to be highly entertaining. I definitely don't personally hate them, and I think it would be bad for this site if they stopped posting here.
So even when most of the people who post here don't like a well known, notorious player, I'm asking, why chase them off this site? Wouldn't you be better off not running into every post they make like a dog headed toward a dinner bowl?
If you just respond to what a person writes, rather than with a high degree of hate toward the person, that person would probably post more. And if that happened, I guarantee it would increase the entertainment for you and everyone else on this site, because we would have that much more high quality, fun material to talk about.
I consider making short harrassing replies in all or most posts someone else makes, regardless of section or topic, to be spam, and in violation of the
Site Rules. But we really should never even need to go there. Just be reasonable rather than stupid, and we can all have a great time here.
Thank you for your cooperation.
