Pffttt.

Half the time I don't think people even understand who is responsible for what they are griping about. The just blame "the devs."

I find that if I blame you or Brok, I feel a lot better, so I just go with that.

I voted yes at first seeing the poll, but others have brought up some good points further in the thread that make me wonder if it would work. The amount of questions posed in such a topic would probably dwarf the devs ability to answer (even though they might want to) and could possibly lead to unjustified feelings of being ignored. Hopefully, when a dev does chime in we can be adult enough to use self-moderation and not make them regret posting.

=( Crap. And here I was thinking I'd get a title out of this poll.

Back to the drawing board...

If we are going to nix the Ask a Dev section, maybe we can get a posting icon on the side of the topic (that shows up on the board) that's easy to pick out to show a dev that we have a question for them?

Like a Blue Thumbs Up beside a topic when you click on General Discussion. It's easy to pick out and a Dev knows that there's a question in there that we'd like addressed... And of course, Blue Thumbs Up topics would be moderated as per LFG's suggestions.

How about some sort of Dev Tracker for this site? NO clue if it is possible or feasible, and definitely not trying to shaft LFG with a lot of extra work, just tossing out an idea. But I think we would all like to keep on top of issues the Devs comment on here......
