meh, I play female characters and occaisionally male characters.. I dont go around "oh, btw, I dont want to sound like i am gay or nothing.. but i am really a guy"... cause quite honestly I just want to play the damn game..

If someone asks, sure I will answer, but to be honest, I dont think its a major deal.. especially since I am not out there preying on those poor unsuspecting guys who want to Cybor.. (shudder)

A guildie explained it quite well imo: "If I'm gonna be playing this game for over a year I'd rather look at something pretty all day long instead of some random guys ass" (@Zhulu 2005ish)

People who play females and pretend to be women on the other hand are a different story ...

Honestly I didn't realize it was so prevalent.. sorry for offending you pansies. I have no problems with you people wearing women's shoes and doing the buffalo bill tuck while in the privacy of your own homes/computer games. I guess the list should just include people like Afton and other online cross-dressers that cross the online line. I would take Jiali off the list but he deserves to be fucked with and I just realized I can't edit my original post.*

I don't have a problem with the fact that they aren't women its more about the deception bit that bothers me. I hate all kinds of deception whether its a white lie like "no sorry I'm busy atm", the false pretenses some people have when joining a serious guild (I mean seriously, apping for a guild to spy on them for the competition has to be as low as you can go) or the usual "it was my brother" thing; I despise them all. Specially when they hide behind the "Its just a game" thing.

Sure its just a game but that doesn't mean you shouldn't behave like a normal human being around other people.

I have only ever played dude characters. I have never even wanted to log on someone else's female character - to me, that would feel like wearing women's underwear.

Ya go ahead and laugh, but I respect other dude's rights to play female toons, so I think people should respect my right to say none for me thanks, I'm just a dude and I only play male toons.
