I knew him before he was in SS, by quite a bit. I used to invis people around Sol Eye for money, and his group would have me come to BoF with them. I do invis, I get a shot at loot, so it was a good deal all around.
Back then, invis range was ass. It was also broken if somebody with their own invis up, ran in, then out of range. So I was pretty strict about laying down the rules, where we were going, etc. I always have folk follow the tank so that if something does go wrong we're all close enough to fight. That meant, I generally always stood next to Ex.
After doing this on and off for a few weeks, his regular group pass me camping Agony. He invites me. I accept. Then he makes the woman leader, and she boots me from group.
Mystified, I let it go, but about 10minutes later I ended up in the most retarded coversation you can ever imagine.
Her problems?
- I stood too close to him (I shit you not).
- If I had any brains, I'd know that it should be her good side I should try to be on, not his.
- That I should stop pestering him (I'd never once sent him a tell, ever...).
- That my little infatuation better not get out of hand, but was adorable anyway.
WTF. Yeah. That was the end of that. I started doing the run with Septura and his Chaos buddies instead.
