honestly? if you want me to "drop it"...stop bringing it up.

I'm not the type to refrain from responding to someone who directly speaks to me. You just took a specific effort to talk directly to me while at the same time telling me to "let it go". If you particularly think I'm being over bearing on a topic, let it die. I am perfectly happy to not discuss an issue that is dead, but I'm not the type to ignore someone talking right to me.

If one thinks I'm beating a topic to death, one should not talk to me about it. I made my point, sav brought it back up, I replied to her, she brought it up again, I replied to that. Now as far as I can be concerned, that little dialogue has concluded and the issue is done with.

But then you said something to me about it to. Now I'll mirror the statement, I got nothing against you, but don't tell me to drop a topic that you raised again.

I will, if i decide, continue to talk about any issue that is mentioned to me. A response dictates a reply. That's how normal people have a conversation.

If you don't want me to talk on a particular issue in response, then don't talk about it.

That is pretty simple logic. As for MUST? No not at all, it's a free board, nobody MUST do anything. However if one wants to bring about a particular result it would be not in that individuals best interest to act in a way that will likely bring about a quite opposite result.

I don't give a flying fuck about the last word, but if someone says something to me, I'll respond.

I know that he is probably the best mod and far from Mawie but...damn...quoting Echgar?

Then again, saying someone is the best mod is a lot like saying he is the brightest kid with down's syndrome.

Echgars damned bright for a downs kid then. Though it's likely true, I don't think the mods were picked for their known brilliance.

See, now here's the amusing thing.

I can either respond, and thus "validate" whatever point you're proving, or not respond at all.

I will in fact do neither, and simply be amused that someone who attacks me for "always trying to have the last word" is at the same time trying to...have the last word.

I'll swing it back at the rest of you. If you have a direct response to something I said, then say it. If not, then let it be. If you don't want continued discussion on an issue, don't fucking talk about it. You think I'm wrong? you think I'm immature? Then be the bigger fucking person and don't drag it up to talk about how wrong and immature I am. Take your own fucking advice.

You think I'm wrong for dragging on a topic? Then shut the fuck up and stop dragging on the topic.

You think I'm immature and wrong for trying to "prove" how other people are wrong? Then shut the fuck up and stop trying to prove how wrong I am.

You think I'm trying to constantly get the last word on an issue? Then shut the fuck up and stop trying to get that last little post in.

In short, if you can't go on telling me how "wrong" someone is without doing the exact same thing that you accuse them of doing, then just shut the fuck up.

That has always and eternally been my problem. If you don't want to be called out on being a hypocrite, then don't be a fucking hypocrite. And I'm not aiming that at one particular person, but just posters in general.

I may be an ass, I may be abrasive, egotistical, condescending and obnoxious, but I admit to it, and I don't try to pretend to be something I'm not, or act like I'm anything else but, while doing the same things that I attack others for.

And, having said that little diatribe, that is my particular last word on the matter.
