It is important for me to make a statement to this community and to the SoE people who read this board as guests.
I am in no way responsible for disclosing any information about anyone to anyone else, relating to this or any other private matter. None of this is any of my doing, and I have not started any rumors, and you have my word on that.
But I cannot, and will not, prevent registered users of EQ2Flames.com from disclosing any information on this site that they may learn based on simple detective work they may do. I cannot and will not prevent clever and intelligent people from reaching and posting conclusions based on evidence given to them by people who are careless enough, or not smart enough, to avoid leaving clues about themselves in their posting activity on eq2players.com.
I can't stop anyone associated with EQ2Players.com from outting themselves with respect to any confidential matter, and if they do so, they are responsible for the resulting problems they created, and not me or EQ2Flames.com.
However, I will not permit information disclosing the actual RL identity or location of anyone to be posted on this site except as I explained in this case:
http://www.eq2flames.com/showpost.ph...3&postcount=77
In that case, the person was attempting to proactively market themselves as an artist based on personal information they posted on the Internet, but then didn't want that same information pieced together with other information they posted on EQ2Players.com.
My response to anyone who posts anything about themself on the Internet, but then later wants to hide from that same information, is simple:
Tough shit, go pound sand. You made your own bed, now go lie in it.
Thank you for your support.
