Although I would rather chew my own tongue off rather than defend Kendricke, I will say that the totally off-base nature of his post aside, he looks like he was trying to brag about the Kenlings. Unfortuantely, being that it is Ken, his post comes off as attention whoring.

Most of us have stepped in on the merits, or lack there of, on his actions. Hopefully he really is leading them in groups to learn how to heal and cure. If not, he is part of the problem rather the solution he thinks he is. Soon, the Kenlings will run off and wonder why they can't get the uber gear. After all, thanks to Ken, they can top the parse when they solo.

The problem you guys are all running into with him is that he follows the letter of the rules as they are laid out in the forum rules of conduct. There's nothing in them saying anything about tone. Thus he cannot be moderated and he's used this argument with every mod who has come along.

* shrug * He isn't technically violating the rules, and as such can't legitimately be chastised. And it's honestly too much trouble to spend days fighting it out with him and dealing with the drama he starts when someone tries to moderate him. He knows how to work the system.

It isn't a matter of playing favourites. It's a matter of having other things to do than to deal with him.

IRL he's actually a pleasant guy. Downright fun even. I give him credit for knowing his stuff. And I'm not gonna bash on him when he's not around to defend himself.

Since when do mods and posters have to agree that a post is breaking the rules? I've heard several cases of people being unfairly moderated. It's been my impression that if a mod thinks you're breaking the rules, you are. Dealing with him shouldn't be an issue. If he becomes a pain in the ass after being moderated, they should just ban him like they have others. But they don't because for whatever reason, they like him.

I'll disagree to a point. I've seen him post things that would get others slapped back. He may get a PM that I obviously wouldn't know about but I've seen him break the rules and not be publically chastised the way we are. Time and fullness of the "give a shit" tank permitting, I'll dig some up.

Kendricke will likely never post here. He honestly can't handle being openingly challenged by his equals. He'll prod and poke those he thinks he can bully and best and where he thinks he can win. Otherwise, he backs off when bullshit is called.

It's not that easy. He's a CM for Warcry and they don't like having to ban CM's (like <removed CM who was banned that I'd get yelled at for implicating>) or even warn them unless they absolutely have to.

He can go much higher than the mods so unless it's a major infraction he's untouchable no matter how much trouble there is. You guys are handing him a victim card by poking at him though. It's like a shark tank in that thread so there is no way a mod is going to not side with him.

Granted, I'm not complaining, I mean poking at Ken is..well fun and I've done it in the past, but it isn't going to change anything. It'll just give the mods something to do I guess.

The thing here is... That doesn't necessarily mean that the people to whom he can go actually like him one way or the other or that he gets special treatment out of favouritism.

Don't mistake a not wanting to deal with someone situation with a wow he's awesome and amazing and we all love him situation.
