Laying aside the debate of there actually being a vendetta is it because of Kendricke specifically or are responses against anyone childish?

I fully admit the guy ruffles my feathers. Those of you that have met him in person say that influences your opinion and that's fine. I haven't met him so all I have to base my opinion is his dispassionate personae he projects online. If he is as intelligent as people claim he is then he knows the natural inference people will have will be to take exception to him.

I have to wonder how someone like Amana is viewed by his RL friends.

Kendick is a fucking asshole. He acts like he rules the Templar Forums and puts anyone down that has a different opinion than him... and posts his dumbshit Templars can DPS posts... Which I always ask myself... Why?!? Why would you want to DPS... Do your Fucking Job and keep your group alive.

I tried to broach that and was leapt upon by the Kenlings and, worse still, the Kenling Wannabe's.

Solo is such a different animal. A solo'er is a tank, healer and a damage dealer. If all the Kenlings were ever going to do is solo then by all means, teach them to wail away. The problem will come when they group.

Now, according to Sensi Kendricke, he groups up his Kenlings and teaches them the dynamics of what to do and when. Of course, none of his self-serving PSA originally mentioned this but, hey. Whatever.

I imagine a tiny army of Kenling Templars joining various PUG's that wipe constantly. Can't be bothered with those pesky cures cause they are leet Battle Priests!

I think a vendetta against Kendricke is ineffective and yeah it's childish to keep going back and goad him on his own turf. I'm preaching from the congregation on that I know because I'm far from the poster child of maturity.

NO ONE in here has gone toe to toe with Kendricke more than I have. I could pull up posts over a year old where we sparred on everything from LU13changes, to needed DPS tweaks, to his overall attitude. It's futile. If you are entertaining yourself and at least one other person then by all means please continue, because its funny (and thats the rule I use). It doesn't reclassify anything though and you are just furthering the stereotype that everyone on eq2flames are troublemakers.

Meeting him in person only proved to me I could be around him and not try and beat him into a coma with a pool noodle. His posts still come off as very irritating to me and maybe thats unintentional but is reality. Don't misunderstand my wanting less drama around the Templar forums as being pro-Kendricke because it'd be a mistake.

I hope your satisifed...I'm probably not going to sleep tonight. *shudder* My status with a fansite does tie one arm behind my back, and I can admit that. But even before that (and you can ask the mods) I skated the line with frightening percision. I knew exactly what buttons to push and what I could get away with. I operate within the rules like Kendricke does, just with a less selfish agenda.

This thread was a lot more fun when we were poking fun at Kendricke.

If I was to take sides on the conversation, which side should I take? Then I can rant again. But right now, I dont know who to rant for or against.
