Know what? Anyone can drink, and maybe Kendricke can hold his liquor I don't fucking care really. The last time I delt with that jacktard all he wanted to do was argue ad hominem with me. Alot of the people on the EQ2 forums know the game sucks so bad that they dedicate their EQ2 experience to the forums.


This only proves that point even further.


Anyhow, I'm sure he's working on becoming a mod like everyone of those other cock suckers that are annoying as fuck on the forums.

Kendricke in person? Was actually tolerable believe it or not. Does that mean I any less want to beat him into a coma with a pool noodle? Not a bit. One of my favorite moments at Fan Faire was Coyote telling him his chin looked like Coyote's nutsack.

Met him at the Vegas Fan Faire. When I saw him on the list of those attending, I fully expecting him to be as annoying as he is on the forums. I was embarassingly surprised. In person, he's a great guy. And it's more than just holding his liquor, he's legitimately fun to party with. He's funny, he's a good dancer and he has a very dynamic personality. I enjoyed hanging out with him and if I went to another Fan Faire, he would be one of the people I was looking forward to hanging with again.

Kendricke only has such a clean slate in EQ2 because he learned what not to do -- in public -- from EQ1. In reality, on EQ1 on the Solusek Ro server (now merged with Bristlebane) he was known by other guild leaders -- if he was known -- as someone who literally stalked people who left his guild and applied to other ones for any sort of reason, among other things. Most of the evidence of this is now nuked to oblivion either because he self-edited it away after realizing just how stupid it was or because it was on an EZBoard.

In fact, there is the remnants of such evidence in one of those EQ1 guilds which has actually survived this long in someone's application thread. The more damning self-incrimination got deleted because it involved WAY too much personal information about the applicant.

Because the guild is still using a paid EZBoard thread though, I would ask that in return to bringing this to light, I'd appreciate it if you don't go nuts with the link. I'll cut and paste the more relevant posts for you instead; some of the people in that EQ1 guild are my friends, and I really don't want to start significantly raising the traffic to their site--and thus the amount they have to pay each month--just to unearth evidence.

You have a problem with Minta in the online "life"? Feel free to give your input here.
You have a problem in RL...so handle it in RL or in private.

I'm not a big friend of moderated forums but here I DO hope that this is getting moderated and only the parts that happened in EQ stay here.

Let's see what I know now that I read in your message to us:
A person who has a credit card and a car, who lived together with a "boyfriend" before decided to leave her life behind and move to another country.
He parents and friends don't like it. understandably.

Guess what? My parents were damn upset when my brother brought home a 16-year old girl (edit: I have no clue how old Minta is in RL, this is just an example from my family) as his girlfriend when he was 24.
They talked to him that this is wrong and bla bla bla
They didn't talk to him for a year or longer when they went to their own flat to live together.

Guess something more? they are married for 12 years now, have 2 wonderful children, a own house and my parents are visiting them about every 2 weeks.

edit: morale? Sometimes you don't like things and say "It's wrong!!!!". sometimes you are right....but sometimes also plain wrong. How can you know this? you can't

Kendricke has a deep personal investment in the online world of Everquest, and the guild of players that he's in charge of. When people leave or want to join other guilds, Kendricke seems to have a habit of taking it personally and slandering those individuals. This is nothing new. Don't be surprised if your leadership also recieves personal tells with more of this type of thing, members of White Rose have heard of this same thing many times before. I won't give specifics on a public board to avoid embarrasing Kendricke, he's doing alright on his own. Thanks for deleting that post, which was full of things that shouldn't have been said.

I'm remaining anonymous because I don't feel like getting more trash for yet again trying to clean up one of Kendricke's messes.

If it makes a difference to anyone at EoM, as far as I know Minta Rose was an upstanding guild member for the entire time she was with White Rose.

Good luck Minta. I'm sure that to people who don't rage against anyone that isn't a member of their own guild, your choices are your own to make and you can make them however you want to. People who see you for who you are, and not just someone who decided to not be a member of their guild, will still keep you in their hearts. Good luck Minta Rose.

I could not have put this any better. I know because I have already went through this.

I can not even imagine what might have led Kendricke to decide this was an appropriate place for that post, as any person with common decency would not have done so.

I ask that you please not judge Legion of the White Rose by Kendricke. I was with them for a long time and they are kind and thoughtful almost to a person, and I am sure they do not stand by his dishonourable and thoughtless action here.

My recommendation might not mean anything, but I was a guildmate of Minta for a long time, and in all my time no one had an unkind word for her, and she was always kind to everyone :P

I regret that it took something such as this for me to say hello to all the great people of EoM. I wish you all well, and you as well Neato Necro, in all that you do :D

I removed a rather lengthy defense of my actions that I had posted here.

In the end, I realized the situation no longer matters. I've informed Joe and his family that I no longer wish to be involved, and have asked them to stop calling me. I imagine I'll still have to speak with Orlando police regarding this, but then that's the price for trying to help an old friend, isn't it?

In most of Kendricke's posts his tone is annoying and reeks of superioty. The tactic of hisI hate the most is the "million question" gig. I even "channeled" him one time in a mocking post. If he would just take it down and notch, and rephrase what he says, he wouldn't be so bad. I relish the chance to argue with him when I can. He is an asshole in my book, but one to which I will give some grudging respect.

Kendricke needs a fucking life. The community summit forum at the fan faire wasn't enough for him. He had to stalk the devs. It really pissed me off when he just had to butt in on a conversation between regular joe players and a dev who was just getting some information.

The dev eventually gave up and moved on because we couldn't get a word in edgewise.

He won't take it down a notch. He didn't understand how before and I really don't think he does now either. I don't really know if his posts are the same now since I really don't want to go digging through 10 page long diatribes again, but his posts from before are either short or long--there is no middle ground. If it's long then it's pretty much certain that he included some sort of insult or taunt towards whoever the post is directed to, even if he wasn't intending to do so.

I also know that if he wrote a long post, he didn't even read over or remember half of what he said pretty often, because I pretty much had to reply or edit (when I moderated the message boards of a now-dead online game he used to play) to several of those at one point and point out specifically where he tripped himself up.

And then there were really strange moments, like how he told a (female) guild leader in EQ1 on her own message board that he was offended about her using the term 'Lesbian Clusterfuck' to describe a situation that pretty much was one. He then later amended that to how he was offended 'on behalf of lesbians' when she pointed out (in more insulting terms) that last she heard, he was male. Draw your own conclusions.
