Kendricke - Message Board King

Ok, I know I'm not the only person that this guy irritates. He's an insufferable know-it-all, and talks down to anyone. He thinks that he is the best thing since sliced bread, and he loves to talk as if he's teaching a Critical Thinking class. I swear he sounds JUST like my teacher when I took an online course on Critical Thinking. I want to just smack him with a dead trout every time he says "Strawman" "slippery slope" or any other myriad of terms that anyone who hasn't taken a critical thinking class would have no fucking clue what he's saying. Here's an example of his hoity-toity posts:

STFU Kendricke! Seeing your pictures from Fan Faire, you look like a really personable person who would be hella fun to hang out with. But the personality that you exude on the message boards over and over and over again is that you are better than everyone else, that your opinion counts for more, and that emotions are the root of all evil, so you have none. Lighten up, let people express their opinions without you nosing in and saying their opinions are invalid for <insert stupid ass reason here>

In Kendricke's behalf, he is a very fun person in a party situation. He and I have had our disagreements on the boards, but I must give credit where credit is due, he does know how to party.

He is also a master of the baiting tactic. I guess that makes him a Master Baiter. I recommend the immediate award of that title should he ever turn up here.

I don't tar people with "penalty" titles on this site. I'd be happy to give him that title if he requested it, however, or any other, if he registered here then earned it like anyone else.

I know LFG - the comment was more to show my 'respect' for the way he delights in belittling other posters and the arrogance he displays by shoving the logical fallacies down their throats than any serious attempt to have you attach that title to him.

Should I consider myself suitably chastised?

(I could beat myself with scented bootlaces if required)

Maybe it's just a bad example, but I thought that was a well written post. What about it makes you think he is being arrogant? Is it his vocabulary? His grammer? His logic?

Kendricke is often correct or right when he posts - he tends to stick to topics where he knows the poster is wrong and can be proven as such - no problem there.

It's the way he does it is what i think most people take issue with. I've not bothered to read the example here - seen enough of his posts to know his modus.
