i was a member of A O D on Crushbone for about 7-8 months, maybe longer. i had my mishaps, sure, left a few times, but always came back, etc. i know where i stand.
about in october of 2006, this guy Sosumya joins A O D on Crushbone. At first, i thought he was a good guy, cool guy. Was fun to hang around with, sure. Although he was obsessed with being the first Froglok Necro to level 70 or some shit, he was a good person at his class.
One day i decided i was bored, logged in a buddies account who had quit the game, who had a level 45? coercer. i was bored, so i decided to do some charm training at the entrance of cazic thule. lawll did i have fun. kept charming mobs, placing them at this group, was killing a few members, lol. i enjoyed myself. TO THE POINT. Sosumya apparently had some friends that were of the people i trained, so when i log back in my main, of course, it shows in guild events: Sosumya has left the guild. Apparently the guy got pissed off because i trained his friend in Cazic Thule, because that was so-totally the coolest reason to leave a raid guild.
so about what, a week later, after i apologized(didnt mean it), as A O D of crushbone always is forgiving, the leader decides to give him another chance, because it was stupid, yadda yadda. etc.
Then was a time of A O D gaining strength. everything started clicking. Except every day this sosumya guy got on my nerves worse and worse, and he even pissed off a friend of mine in guild. About a month later, Sosumya decided to pay for our guild website. awsome! we were so happy and we felt so uber because we had a website, omgz. AND still of which, is OWNED BY HIM. He didnt have the heart to give control over to the actual guild which the site belonged to. basically, hes a control freak. but i mean, still i understand you pay for something, its yours. /shrug. even if no member in A O D reads the forums more than him, or made more posts than him. of which he still does to this day, when he's in Dirty Dozen of Oasis.
Heres another funny time. I had a RL friend who played the game, who was annoyed to the hell with Sosumya and everything he said. the guy actually never shut up in TS, and made some stupid ass joke about hot pockets (it got old bro, after the 10th time. believe me). now, my RL friend played a monk, he basically liked to train things. Like hurricanus, and Sanctum of Scaleborn or w/e, etc. he liked to train other people, idk why. One day he trained hurricanus onto another guild who was trying to pull him. i laughed, he laughed. But the GL's of A O D didnt, they warned my friend, and that was it. But Sosumya took it farther, because earlier in the week, my 15 year old RL friend made fun of him because he was a shitty officer and had no control over anything(in which he didnt). Sosumya basically forced my friend out of this guild, telling the leaders to boot him because not just the fact he was warned of training people, but because he got made fun of. heends up qutiting game afterwards becasue he is tired of it all.
Oh! heres one.. One time we were just raiding EH for the first time. We were figuring out Serik the Fang, long fight, power regen is needed, etc. I have never seen a necro get pissed off because he has to hand out hearts. I never have seen a necromancer get mad IRL because he had to hand out hearts during mid battle. It blew my mind, the guy was flipping out in TS because he had to hand our hearts. lawl. a key part to the necromancer class is to hand out hearts, whether in mid battle, after, or before. AND their DPS included. But Mr. Ol Sosumya couldnt do both at once, and actually yelled at the members because they were running out of power in a 10 minute fight.
i never had a huge grudge agaisnt sosumya until the day he left A O D. he left overnight, without telling a single person(until two days after it had happened). Then he posted some long thread about why he left, how he was constantly rushing home leaving work to raid, how he spent an hour before raids bla blah blah blah. WOAH, hold up. basically the dude posted this thing that sounded like he cried when he wrote it. Now i actually dont know if he did, but damn, the thing was sorrow. i would post it for you, but i have been ip banned from the forums of A O D because sosumya called me a cry baby, and a little kid. lawl.
Killing in Mistmore Catacombs is the most harmless thing to do. its easy, very soloable. fun IMHO. either A. Sosumya was blazed or drunk, or B. this guy has aboslutely no patience and the worst attitude possibly known to mankind. for some odd unknown reason, Sosumya could not climb to the top of mistmore catacombs. he could not jump, and he died like 4 times. he blamed it on the rest of my group. he yelled, " WTF we're supposed to be making money bla bla bla im a dirty whore bla bla bla and i keep dieing". so we try to help him, he falls off the 5th time, dies. he leaves group, calls out, and then acts like nothing happened. i laughed my ass off, i really did.
i am one of those people who like to improve the guild i am in, whether its in DKP rules, or DPS. one day, we had this little miscommunication problem/loot problem with shadow axe from HoS. /shrug, no big deal, KoS weapon, nothing to leave guild over. but except that it pissed me off so i started doing things to the DKP system because i felt like being a dick(aka, as a brigand, i bid on a bow). So then i try to talk about the problem we had in guild forums, the ones who Sosumya currently runs btw. I posted some thread, it got a little heated, but it was cool and all. after 4 pages of posting all day, Sosumya logs on at night, and closes the thread, saying it wasn't productive. (we were trying to talk about the needed changes to our DKP system). I started another thread, 3 pages later, Sosumya bans me from posting on my own guild forums, and closes the thread. lawl, i got banned from my own guild's forums from a guy on another server who cant stand getting made fun of by a 16 year old kid. SO the only way i can talk to him is through tells. (im pretty ticked off now) i send him a tell, basically telling him that he's a jackass, and that i will fuck his day up, etc. lol. He takes a screenshot of it, posts it on the guild website, and says "is this what A O D is about?". and then he had a buddy, also who switched servers from a o d , post about how dumb i was. the dude, isnt on our server.
and then for the next few months, we were cool. idk how, but we just were. we got along on the forums, idk.
until now. i have left A O D for the final time. I posted why on the guild website. Sosumya called me basically, a crying little kid who wants attention. i laughed, i honestly did. because a kid is 16 years old and plays eq2, doesnt make them any worse than anybody else. in fact, i think i have dueled almost every hardcore dueler on the server, and have beaten them at least once
anyways, i swung back at Sosumya, basically making pretend i was a spammer. i said bunch of shit that made fun of him. lawl. forum battle 101: he banned my IP address.
Sosumya. of D12. seems to me he tries to run A O D on the side. or maybe its just the forums. idk, beats me, and i really dont care. but i think the world needs to be informed in stay away from the dude, who knows, he might just ban you from the A O D forums too!
