I work as an editor for our government's main educational publisher. The mainstay of my work is editing large books (usually written by several authors) to ensure a consistant writing style. Analysing semantics, collocations and phraseology is something I do for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Here are a couple of things to note:
1) Sangra does not use apostrophes. I've trawled through random logs of hers and they are as rare as rocking horse poop. The writer of this email doesn't use them either. On the flip-side however, the writer of this email does capitalise the beginning of sentences - which Sangra rarely does.
2) The word "buisness". Whilst at first glance this looks like a simple typo, I have found 4 occurances of this word typed the same way in Sangra's logs. I'm sure she knows how to spell the word correctly and write it down correctly, however patterns show this as a common mistake for her whilst typing.
3) She has poor 'subject-verb agreement' as shown in "I walk in not long ago...." Again, this is very common in her logs.
4) The use of powerful adjectectives to describe the Irishman (large and angry). Sangra's logs are full of powerful adjectives to describe herself and make herself look strong and powerful.
5) "snapping some unfortunate geek in half". The use of violence - again common in the way she describes how she would "deal" with her enemies in her logs. In her logs (as here), there is never anybody specific mentioned - just a faceless group of people.
6) This is one of the big ones. "...will tell me who the guilty are". Sangra's logs are littered with blaming other people who have wronged her. In each instance, they are always 'guilty' or a synonym of the word "guilt" is used.
The overall weakness of the sentence structure, poor relative clauses and the consistantly incorrect use of the subjunctive shows up in her logs time and time again.
I have compared several random samples from logs I have of her. The writing style is the same. Im 90% sure this is the same person.
