and another thing, yes I am technically retarded I hope you feel really good about yourself for not getting brain damage in a car accident, I have a right to play the game too all these events took place about a month after the accident and I could barely spell my name let alone remember how to play the game

Re: Greedly the Paladin
So, congrats you are quite literally correct I am a retard, I had to re-learn a LOT of stuff including how to play the game and my class as well as what my real life name was and what year it was. so in closing I say this, congrats on being smarter than me, a brain damaged moron! you've earned it

Honestly, couldn't care less. You admit that you knew you had troubles playing when you logged on to join a group. If you have a major accident, and don't remember how to drive a car, you damn well better not be driving a car. You didn't remember how to play the game, you sure as hell shouldn't have been joining a group.
At the very least you should have joined a group that actually knew you and knew what to expect from you, other than telling random people what, a year after the fact?
You deserve any and all ridicule that you get here. You were a retard, hoped it wouldn't get noticed. It did, and it took you a year to figure out an excuse.
You seem "wise" enough to realize that you are 'retarded', which means that the only reason you kept going through with the run without telling them anything was that you wanted to be a jackass and waste other peoples' time.

so you acknowledge his inability to play well at the time, then turn around and criticize his inability to make decisions? think about that.
shit, if he plays bad, don't play with him. just like any other player. there's really no need to flame someone dealing with some troubles in real life.
seriously... what right do you have to judge others?

A.) We have nothing to back up his claim he was in an accident that rendered him "barely able to spell his name" and yet still be able to log in, get unrest groups and tank "80%" of the zone.
B.) So invoking real life problems now exempts you from criticism?
C.) HE revived a thread nearly a year old by...
D.) ...defending himself. Note, his first post wasn't a "oh poor me" post but a complete refutation the night was as the OP described. He claims all the problems were due to other people and he deserved all the loot because he did such a great job.
btw, he edited his second post. Originally it was a flame against trolls (ironic) that later became the "oh poor me" post.
This was long dead and forgotten until he dredged it up for attention.

Re: Greedly the Paladin
1) If everyone who claimed their gameplay was affected by some IRL issue (retardation, being a kid, whatever... I even had a guy bitch at me when he claimed a mob was never up when it's an instant respawn, I said he must be blind, he sent me a tell saying he was blind in rl lol), was actually affected by whatever issue it is, EQ2 would be like 80% people who are clinically disabled in some way. Seriously.
2) My ex step brother, from when I was a kid, was retarded (clinically). He was actually very apt at video games, as are many other people with medical issues. It provides an environment where a lot of disabilities are invisible, and in a LOT of cases mental handicaps are included in that. If you were able to comprehend and converse as you just did, when you were doing the groups people are discussing in this thread, then I don't buy the medical issue as a valid reason for your behavior. Even if it WAS, your attitude makes it clear that regardless of whatever handicap you may have, you DO fit the definition of what most people here mean by "retard." You could have posted and said...
"Hey guys... yeah... I wasn't able to really think properly and respond as quickly as I used to be able to due to a car accident, it's taken me some time to rebuild the damage done to my abilities in game. You'll find that I'm a much better player now so please don't hold the hard times I went through against me. I know how annoying it is when players don't act responsibly."
The response would have been completely different.

Please, re-read my post. He was the one who wrote that he had problems playing the game, there was nothing wrong with that. And I never said that he had an inability to make decisions. He wrote that HE KNEW that he would suck when he was playing, yet he still MADE THE DECISION to join a pug group (notice here, I didn't say he was unable to make decisions, he made them), and not announce in any way shape or form that he would not be playing as well as he should be. Hence my comment about him being a jackass, wasting other peoples' time, and acting like everyone should pity him because of it.
I have every right to judge others. Everyone does. Deal with it.
If he had made some effort to let the group know that he would suck ass, so that they could re-evaluate whether he should join them (here is where your: " shit, if he plays bad, don't play with him.") then this would be an entirely different issue, and I would be more than willing to be on his side in this.
