This forum was set up in general for a place for EQ2 players to vent about whatever they wanted to without being moderated or censored. If you give one group of people priority to get posts that carry a negative conotation removed or editted, then you have to give EVERY group that same right. You don't get to pick and chose, and if you DO pick and chose you are fucking pathetic.

Like I said, everyone fits into some group or another. What if one of the devs was a homosexual? I have no ill will towards anyone homosexual, but I also use the terms "that's gay" or "you're a fag." Does that make me prejudiced? Fuck no. However, I don't see ANYONE getting up in arms about that.

What LFG posted was an attempt to be hip with the times about race relations. Its sad. The term in question, which I might add, I haven't used, is just a term. This site has been open now since September 18, 2006.

We've never had anyone insist they had a right to post racial slurs before today.

So today, on April 16, 2007, because of Itoock, I have no choice but to enable the bad words filter on this site for the first time ever.

The filter will only filter out the letters n, i and g when used in that sequence, and the N word in its entirety.

Everyone thank Itoock and Kazzi for getting the bad words filter turned on.

And before anyone else gives me grief about this - kindly shut the fuck up in this situation, I don't have time to deal with this right now.

I don't care what your opinion is regarding other words. If people want to be idiots like Itoock and Kazzi have been in this post, I'll begin banning for intentional use of racial slurs, or will also add them to our new bad words filter, or both.

The bottom line is, I cannot be associated with a site that allows people to use the N word especially. I'm sorry if you don't like that, tough. My choice today was to enable the bad words filter to prevent people like Kazzi and Itoock from mistakenly believing they had the right to use the N word on this site, or to simply shut the site down. I chose to turn on the bad word filter just for that word instead.

If you are so bothered by this decision that you can't continue using this site, it's been nice knowing you. But I was left with no choice today, and did what I had to do.
