I'm not a big fan of posting or replying in those usualy

But i'll make and exception today.

I know you (Borr) know kanudorms/ Barraka already (The other raid leader of Brood)

I'm the other raid leader of Brood of ungoliant (now named The Brood) Guild where kaalia currently is.

I will admit that Kaalia is one special guy (cause yes it is a guy). And yes he like to tank and all.

His attitude did got him in deep shit in the past on more then one occasion NOOOOOOO doubt about that

But it all come down to the fact that it's a game so everybody is entittle to play it the way they want and to have their opinion.

Yes i know for a fact been main raid tank that now he can manage his aggro in a raid while doing a decent amount of dps (cause he had to before been kicked by myself and barraka). He's far from a tank, he's far from been the best wizard, but he can still do the job when needed.

Even though his opinion might be a bit odd on some subject. He's still entitle to play as a tank if that is what he like and imo without him been call a retard cause bottom line... it's a game ... and we are all there to have fun.

p.s. I do agree that he's one heck of a hard headed man though

Decided to join one of these wizard-tanking groups, Unrest to be precise to see if the morons would actually let a wizard tank while there is a guard standing right there playing the DPS class...
These are my research results from a fully tank-buffed (Mystic + Warden) wizard ready to take on Unrest:

Oh, I forgot to include the belt, which is the Dragonsscale Sash from Claymore line..

From the original post, I didn't understand that Kaalia intended to main tank Unrest. I thought she wanted 2 fighter classes to manage aggro for her group.

After reading the latest post, and viewing her equipment and bio, I see now the point that was being made. Wow, that's a weird way to play a wizard... There is no way a wizard can out tank a fighter.

However, Kaalia still has the right to run his/her group the way he wants. Live and let live.

I agree that one can run a group or raid however they please, however, I do not agree with the belief that this wizard can tank better than a fighter thus, this is my proof that this fool truely believes something this ridiculous.

Did that group succeed or fail? did you finish the zone? If the wizard Tanked and completed the zone... who cares?

Doompa, a Necromancer, has tanked raids. I cant recall the details, I'll ask Crabbok to post what raids he tanked.

Dont get me wrong folks i totally support Bord on this one on the fact that no a wiz is not intended to be a tank and is NOT in anyway shape or form better then any tank.

That been said i did see him myself tank pretty much any instances in the game and do a decend job... although yes of course the healer have to work harder...

Now the real question is...

Is it retarded that somebody is trying to do something that a toon is not meant for ?

The awnser is no. It is weird, uncommon, even dumb cause your working harder to do the same job, basicly anything you like but not retarded... then again that is just my opinion...

I for one would be upset if some numbnuts Wizard made me work harder as a healer because he was trying to live some "Battlemage" fantasy.

But I'm lazy so extra work by any means makes me upset.

I think its kind of insulting that she would demand 2 tanks or 1 raid tank and still have all that tank crap on (plus STA line, so called that

). If she pulls that much aggro and isnt even spec'd for ulitmate dps she is deserving of a retard thread imo.

Also, she has some raid fabled, probably through pickup groups I'd guess, but to go to a raid with that tank crap and STA line is totally retarded

Unfortunately I've grouped with Kaalia before. She wasn't even that great at holding aggro. She was terrible at controlling adds, and didn't impress me at all. In fact, her desire to be a battle mage coupled with her stubborn attitude might make her one of the worst eq2 players.

Avalanch, why the fuck would you guild such a retard who plays a dps class but isn't specc'd for dps for raids? She makes your guild look terrible.
