Sadly you have to create a challenge for yourself to feel you've accomplished something in eq2. The best times I've had was trying to accomplish something that shouldn't be possible. I can understand the satisfaction you're friend got out of that. Unfortunately for my class now soloing heroics is relatively boring unless I do need to be strategic.

You know what I hate? People who think that in order to play the game you have to rush through content, be level 70 with 4 alts and look down on other players because of their playstyle, and if you aren't a high end raider, your opinion shouldn't matter because you haven't put in the dues.

You know what I hate? Some whiny fuck that's been level 40 for 2 years because they suck at the game telling me that I've rushed through content when I've seen more of the game than they ever will. Every Heritage/Signiture quest completed, every access quest done, completed every group instance, been to every zone, killed every raid mob, over 900 quests completed ... I've soloed, grouped, raided and crafted. Shame that I skipped so much content, really. ;)

The whole "we're high end, and if you're not you're scum" attitude that people throw around because they've reached a higher level in a videogame is as retarded as you telling me to start another fucking thread. I'm in a guild, I group, but I consider myself because of time restraints a solo'er, and some high end dickshit is telling me I'm hated because of it?

So... you hate people who rush through content.. but you also hate(or maybe you're jealous of?) people who do not rush through content but instead have lots of time to enjoy all the content and still surpass you in every aspect of the game?

Also, as you may hate the elitist "we're better than you" attitude, same goes for us and the solo "I pay the same monthly fee as you do so wtf is my silver spoon?" attitude.

I hate the posts explaining how encounters for raids could easily be modified so that the solo player puts in the same effort over time and gets the reward. I guess in time if you worked enough flipping burgers at the golden armpits you might earn as much as bill gates in the last 15 minutes...I dunno.

I hate hearing how SoE nerfed Necro's to a point where we can't solo anymore, I only wish I realized that when I hit 70 soloing with no problems at all. I also note that 95% of the posts are from level 25 Necro's explaining how their cousin's aun'ts friend know's a person who know's a 60 Necro who can't solo anymore.

I hate hearing how Raiding is the most simplistic thing anyone can do, however they don't raid, but deserve the same rewards. Afterall, raiding is just pushing buttons and soloing is...well...damn..I thought pretty much the same actually.

Guild's also don't deserve rewards because anyone can put the long hours into building one and get the rewards <tilt's head>? that one always got me...

I solo, I group, I rarely raid but I know if I want some decent gear eventually I will have to raid. Different playstyles for different people. There is always going to be someone to whine and bitch no matter what soe does. Soe is lookin out for themselves and by puttin in solo content that means more money for them. It is nice for me as I enjoy soloing. That doesnt mean I dont enjoy grouping as well. I dunno I just kinda think to each their own. WTF difference does someone else's playstyle make in your playstyle. Find a better subject to bitch about this one is pathetic.
