Anyway I love to solo. If I could do every quest alone, I prolly would. Becuz I dont like to ask people to help me do it becuz at the risk of me deciding that I'd rather not do that and go somewhere else, I dont wanna feel like a complete ass becuz I asked somebody to help me or joined a group doin it already and now I dont wanna. I of course dont care about what gear I'm wearing (ask Lumi) and therefore, the credit I get from the quest or the gear I get from the kill really doesnt bother me at all. I hardly ever find anything Ranger-y anyway, so I dont care what I get. As for my monk...I just want her to look pretty. She's still wearin her AQ jammies and she's lvl 49...lol.
