You're an illusionist. If you are angry because you didn't get a chance to roll, then tuff luck. That item would have been a waste for you compared to it going to a wizard. I, on my illu, consider it as a given that a wizard has dibs on the Najena ring, should it drop.

If there was another sorcerer in the group, the whole thing sucks. But if not, I would have done the same. I am all for fairness etc, but this item is where I draw the line. It's so rare and so powerful on wizards, and so less powerful on illus, that YOU should have declined from the start out of mere decency. This ring doesn't drop every other run - it drops once or twice in the whole xpack.

I don't say this is a bulletproof argument, but the illu gear thread lists the ring as 6th choice. You seem to have access to 4 of those 5 better choices. So?

And yea, I know this is flames and everything... but kudos to you calling somebody a retard for having a bad enough conscience to apologize + send you money. Obviously you can flame him for grabbing the loot in that manner, but then ridiculing his bad conscience... nice move?

Despite the fact that sure it's a better ring for a sorcerer than a chanter, this isn't alright behavior. He should've let the group know from start that he was gonna change the loot and get the ring if it drops. So the people joining have a option to leave.

And i'm sure Mafoe if you went in with any of your sorcerer toons (no idea if you have any) but let's say a Warlock, i am sure you would've been really pissed as well because i am sure he would've done what he did no matter what kind of mage that was in the group.
