I haven't dueled a lot, but the one time I tried to check out if the group could help, I saw all the groups buffs deactivate (even though they still showed up on the buff bar) when the duel started, and they could not be re-cast.

Has anyone else ever actually checked that out?

But the bottom line is, Joon won cause he trolled you into paying him. lawls all around.

Strike of Faith is the reactive portion of Act of Faith (the inquisitor buff), so buffs are not deactivating.

take notice that he implied he was going to show the heal parse, but instead just showed the DPS parse and still didnt notice that a inquis proc showed. I admit, i do not know anything about PVP, but bullshit i can sense.

I'm pretty sure that healing would not be possible. The buffs, however, do help add a little extra pep to the fight.

Yeah, wasnt sure. Thats why i said i didnt know anything about PVP. Thanks for clearing that up.

What about reactive group buffs? I believe my mystic has a mit buff that has a small regenerating ward attached to it. I wonder if that would still fire off. I know I tried to cast apply toxins with my assassin on someone who was dueling and it wouldn't let me do it. I think it kept saying "target not grouped" or something like that.

buff effects are negated when a duel starts from group and / or raid members, this was a fix a long time ago. unless something changed????
