How do you get so lucky? Guilty by association?

I grouped with Ravenne and Repxsr (oh his pally) in Nizara. Was playing swashy and we were having a great run...The cloth shoulders drop off the x2 name...of course without thinking I roll right as Ravenne says she needs for her enchanter (yes an upgrade) Well, needless to say I end up winning the item. I felt like crap, but even after being a complete nubins we finished the zone and all was well...Great group and good people.

Still don't understand why you would have to pay or why it was even a question. What tools.

I wasn't very upset about that. You apologized and I felt it was an honest mistake. I don't really get upset over loot so much as I get upset over liars and rudeness.

If I can't multibox the zone or if no guildmates are on to do the run with me I don't go, period. I never do pickup groups, EQ2 players are retarded ass holes in general.

Kinda dumb, all being ok with someone who wasn't in the group in any form to loot the helm while someone in the group isn't ok to get the robe for their alt. Makes no sense :P

I was actually surprised when I was in there with one of my alts (pickup group) and the whole group offered for me to get my conjurer and loot that robe when it dropped and there was no summoner in group. All sorts of people out there I guess, go figure.

How about stating for a fact that at the beginning, before everyone zoned in he/she (dont know gender) started making dibs to roll on items that would be class specific against the conjurer in the group already. How dumb is that... if not dumb I would think a bit greedy. So, to set the platform, we zoned in with this already knowing that this is the first impression I get from this person I have never met before. Well thats just a prelude.

I did say in advance that I will be changing loot options on the named mobs so that no surprise will happen when loot will drop. This was the point when you can make a choice to leave or stay in the group. The majority of the group are good friends in the game. In my opinion, the majority rules. Therefore, when the first drop came for the Tank class, the majority voted to give the item to another friend. If four people vote vs two... I'd would think you would go with the Four. Unless I'm missing something in math.

So, the point is, before we zoned in there would be a census of votes on loot. Everyone has a choice of play and this game is large enough to stay exclusive or not. Hence the social circles. I really dont think its retarded if a vote goes in a direction not to your liking.

Ravenne ended up paying 3pp. Is this really such a loss? Even at 12pp, that would have a good deal. If I was in this situation, and know I am among strangers, offering to pay for an item is a given. If I was awarded an item without having to pay for it, thats a bonus.

To clarify, there was a conjuror in the group, and I was playing my coercer because the group needed a coercer. I asked both the conjuror and Assault before we zoned in if we could random on the cloak if it dropped because I would prefer to have that for my main. I did not want to have dibs on any CONJUROR class loot. Regardless if they wanted to random for the cloak or not, my coercer still had a right to roll on it as the cloak would have been useful to her as well.

As for 'picking' choice parts of the conversation - nothing was left out from start to finish in my screen shots except a ton of 60's chat.
