Karog PMed u probably because he got flammed by Kaylee, and you jumped to assumptions about Kaylee, WTG. He already admitted he didnt know about the rule, AND told you it was ok to delete the Jessicane account as he doesnt use it. BUUT fuck that, what fun is that? Gotta have drama, so hell lets ban him for 3 days. Why? Where u expecting a fight from him? He didnt put up, told u how it is and called it a day? That not work right for u LFG? This person *created* this problem by registering two accounts in violation of the site rule.

I made a polite post giving them the opportunity to respond, and got a butthurt and defensive response typical of someone who refuses to accept responsibility for problems they create and tries to pin them on others instead.

And then people from your guild rush to post in his or her defense and against me, as if he or she is now a victim.

Let me make something clear. I don't give a shit about you or the petty third world drama from your WW23rd guild or server.

What I do give a shit about is the time it takes me to admin this board. The time I spend on this board is mostly spent dealing with the following:

1. Complaints and problems caused by people who create multiple accounts in violation of the very clear site rule against this that has been in effect since day 1. This rule is in place to minimize problems caused by anon posters and to my user database by people who register multiple accounts.

2. Arguing with Disso members.

3. The Nagafen forums.

Now that we've come up with a permanent resolution for #1, I will be able to spend more time doing what I like to do, which are #2 and #3.

Thank you and your guildmates for helping increase user awareness of this issue by your continued replies to this post.

All I'm asking is that anyone in your circumstance send me a PM in advance advising me of that so I can set the database tools appropriately. It would make it much easier for you to use this site from the same computer also. Just PM me the names of all users on the same IP number before a problem is created, and I'll keep that confidential and will exempt those names in our software system.

Fine lfg we can play this game. You came into this thread 'politely' accusing Kaylee of using multiple accounts to hide his identity. He has NEVER done this. I am pretty sure that the person who PMed you with concerns of the issue was Karog. Under the Karog flame there is a post by Kaylee, folloed by an edited cleared post by Jessicane, followed by a post again by Kaylee. Quotes from him posting under Jessicane (a necro now on the venekor server) talking about being an SK have been put under this thread. It is very very very clear he has in no way tried to hide his identity. His FIRST response to you is pretty straight forward, he was unaware of the rule, was sorry he broke one, and openly said to delete the Jessicane account. Not everyone reads the rules to forums when they registered, id be willing to be more people here have NOT read the rules when registering here. He said he was told to register here by Miroh, do you think he took the time to read those rules, or just made an account under Jessicane, his main at the time? Probably just made the account.

Now several months pass by, he switchs his main back to his Sk on a PvE server, remakes an account under Kaylee figuring thats his main, no harm no foul. Id be willing to be since that change, he hasnt really posted under Jessicane except by accident, and even in those posts he was talking as if he was an Sk. Yep i see clear attempts to hide his identity.

So lets recap. LFG called Kaylee/Jessicane out on using 2 forum names. He comes out RIGHT away saying he was unaware of this rule, was sorry, knew who probably reported him, and told you that you could delete jessicane. Also 2 or 3 of those people defending him are not even Elysium...they may not even know who Kaylee is. So it is easy to reason that they are defending him cause the attack on him was pretty unwarrented. Shit got turned around back on you, you got overly defensive of your 'position' as a mod, and got rule happy. You changed rules on the spot, then punished Kaylee reflecting these rules AFTER he had told you to delete Jessicane. If you had done just that when he said it was ok, at the time of you changing the rules he woulda had only one account, Kaylee. Therefor he would NOT have been breaking the rules when they where altered, therefor should not have been banned.

So to ur number one there. He was unaware he broke a rule, and upon finding out right away told you to Delete the second account in question. He NEVER anon posted (Kaylee being a well known Sk on crushbone, and Jessicane being a well known Necro on naggy back when he played there commonly). So i dont see what the problem caused by his multiple accounts were. If you can show me quotes of him hounding people from one account to the other, and pretending to be 2 different people then i will admit i am wrong.

Untill then I stand by my belief that you, LFG, got over zealous with you're position as mod, had been attacked on the forums that you yourself encourage drama and flaming in, didnt like it and banned someone.

I've reconsidered this situation and am unsuspending Kaylee for the reason that it isn't fair to retroactively apply a penalty.

So I stand corrected on that issue alone.

In the future, we will be giving three day suspensions to anyone caught registering multiple accounts or using multiple accounts by the same person, regardless of circumstances or excuses.

An amnesty period is now in effect until Sunday. If you have previously registered more than one account on this site, you have until Sunday to PM me your user names so I can fix the problem.
