yah it's really sad he has so much gear and didn't feel he needed to give back to the people who helped him get it all.

Re: Repxsr Fury of BB/kith/unrest
I really didnt even know rep and didnt see his play ability first hand, but a lot of what his ideas and mentality for what his class as a fury should be doing and how to do it was pretty dead on. He tested many things for the fury class. To be honest I really think that there arent very many smart people playing the fury class and it is a shame that we are losing him to whatever RL stuff is going on with him. If he still even reads this thanks for any time you put into the gaming communtiy testing abilities and gear to help everyone else try and find an optimal setup for their toon.

Re: Repxsr Fury of BB/kith/unrest
To be honest he wasn't half the player of the class that Seifer is and will continue to be.
Repxsr got every piece of loot and could barely beat Seifer for total healed every now and then. His DPS was more important from the looks of it, and even that wasn't stellar for the class.
Combine that with the constant excuses, missed raids, defeatist attitude and will to quit trying at any oppurtunity and you will understand why he deserves this thread.
Some of the things he claimed as excuses didn't pan out, he used his wife's pregnancy as a catch all. He must go get icecream for her, there is no way he can play his wife has xxxx ailment(when that ailment actually means she has to deliver the baby, but she ends up not... hmm...)
It wasn't that his real life is more important, everyone understands and says, real life shit before this game, they joke and say oh you don't have to go do xxxx, but they understand.
Its when you say, without fail or prior notification that you will be somewhere or you will do something and then you don't show or don't do that action that you become a completely unreliable fuck like happened here.
He literally acquired everything he could want possibly except maybe two pieces of equipment for his main. Then he stopped showing up. He would log onto his PvP character(s) and level them multiple times, acquire multiples items while all the rest of the available players for AM were in EH, some boxing two and one boxing three toons. Then he claims he only played fifteen to twenty minutes at a time while there is evidence and witnesses to the contrary from his PvP guild that he's in with other AM members.
I used to like him alright, seemed a fairly good guy, but jesus christ you don't just act all fucking self righteous and give the people who acquired your gear for you a big fuck off, I don't feel like playing.
He's now in my book of complete fucking idiots.

Being deguilded for lack of attendance is fine...DPS is important to every class including healers. Most people havent yet broken out of the box that all they do is heal...if your a healer and not trying to do some form of dps your basically just a lazy fuck. if Rep was keeping his group alive then going balls on dps thats fine...if not he needed to scale back a little but acting like dps isnt important is just stupid.

Re: Repxsr Fury of BB/kith/unrest
From what it looks like: he had poor attendance and he got the boot. Given what he's saying of his RL situation, that sounds like it works out for the best on both sides, gear not withstanding. If he'd stuck around to "pay off" his gear, though, you'd be unhappy to be guilded with him, so lose/lose.

Oh its not that DPS isn't important, my main is an inquisitor and I'm all about healers shelling out their share of the DPS, its the fact that he was fully spec'd out for DPS, no healing enhancements at all and it was, at times, very obvious.
Like say when all the healers are pressed and can't spare the direct heals right away to people in his group and people would drop because he couldn't get everyone back up as fast, or if his group is getting repeatedly blasted down to nothing, hp and power, by AEs, no tortoise shell for the loss. Is it a necessary AA? No, but does it enhance the ability of the class in its primary role? Definitely.
Fact of the matter is he was good. There is no arguing that. The part you argue and de-guild over is when his attitude, random attendence and never knowing if you are going to get the player focused on being a healer fury or the half ass DPS fury.

Re: Repxsr Fury of BB/kith/unrest
It wasn't just that his attendance sucked, but that he would be playing on PVP rather then on Rep, during normal raid times, and expect people to call him to log in for normal raids. Calling for contesteds is one thing, but expecting a call for MMIS when we raid at the same time every day, is just stupid.
Yes, RL is more important then this game, but the way I see it is, if he had time to play on PVP all day , then he could have made raids. On that note Rep, the day you had "food poisoning" and couldn't be bothered to log in, you somehow managed to loot 10+ masters on PVP. Not too smart to lie when your guilded with a few of the same people on both servers.
When we where still learning EH, he would constantly afk and go to sleep during the long runs, and never answered his phone, or even bothered to log out. The most recent raid he was at before he got the boot, he /quit ( i mean went LD) before we could coth him to the zone in of MMIS.
As far as the DPS vs Healing issue, yes a Fury can and should do DPS, but with Rep it was DPS first Heal second.
And Rep, you just always seemed to have an excuse. Food poisoning several times, Wife wants icecream, Wife in hospital, passed out with hot pizza on your lap, sick, building a crib, family over, passed out watching TV (in the middle of a raid even), and so on. Maybe everything was true, but you know what they say about excuses. Also, you where first marked inactive because we knew shit was going on in RL, but you decided to log in and go all EMO about it, and from that point on, you only logged into PVP. You may say you where just afk there, but when you respond to tells, but then dont log in , you've shown what you really want.
EDIT: In response to the post about "Rep has done so much for the Fury community .................. blah blah blah". From reading on our forums, Rep's idea of being a "good healer" was just spamming every heal when its up. If this is what you think being a good fury is , then you are a retard. Rep was all about DPS, and would have been much happier just rolling a wizard.
