You're all on the side of she's divorcing him, what if he's divorcing her and could use that to side with the fact that she is severely rude and what I'll call "forcefully opinionated" and doesn't think that would be good to have his children around. He has as much of a right to dig up evidence as anyone else.

I think you'd be insane not to find every bit of evidence you could when it comes to your kids. Its not like the Email was about her taking him for every penny he has. If it was a money issue I'd agree he went to far.

He just sounds desperate to me. I can't say that I really blame him. If I had children, I can see doing whatever it took to keep them. The reality is, like you said, he will probably not win custody of his children. It's sad really.

I'm just hoping that it's really about the children for him and not just to spite the mother.

Look at it comparatively this way.

Say the wife went out to bars or whatever most often during her free time, and he went to someone that typically saw her for information.

Just because it's different situations doesn't change the fact that all he's looking for is information. We can deduce that if she argued with the OP quite frequently then she spent a large amount of time in game...Nothing against parents that play but I can't see frequenting much time with your children if you're constantly on an MMO, especially PVP. The husband may have been the same way, but we don't know that. Thankfully the children are older and don't require the same amount of attention that toddlers do.

Instead of using the "it's just a game" mentality, look at it as a hobby, something she spends a lot of her free time doing.. There's nothing wrong with finding out what she does in game in relation to gaining custody rights of his children.

Again, this is using only knowledge we have, we don't know anything about the husband and the couples real life issues. For all we know the husband could be a raging alcoholic.

So I'll say what I should have said before..

There's no way to side with either parent in this post without making yourself look like an idiot. All you can do is assume or create situations which may or may not have any weight on any actual facts.

But he went to the kid realizing that when she was talking to him, he was underage. It does look like a sleezeball desperate attempt. The only thing we know about her, is what's in game. And you can't base a person on that.
