In this particular instance there's a lot of griefing going on (as opposed to flaming or *gasp* conversation). Most of it is coming from folks who have registered anonomously, which we defined as "we have no clue who you are from in-game or from the official forums".
It's a two-part issue: this behavior that's largely coming from anonymous persons, and persons provably registering more than one login and using the anon one(s) to grief or emphasise thier point.

There's no way to really control the anons, and we don't necessarily want to. I mean, no one can possibly know every player in the game, and we're bound to get new players no one's ever met, and they're quite welcome.
We're trying to affect some control over the abuses.
