I'm SOO glad to hear that she's getting support for the not-a-gnome campaign.... its about bloody time!! It took her a while and a lot of denial to realize she was not a gnome but alas she is no longer pretending and has made peace with her... imperfect heritage...

move on elanie... and if I hear about you impersonating my beloved gnomes again then I'll have to unleash the gnomish fists of fury on your lil' halfling horde

But but but... I've never impersonated gnomes! Everyone just keeps punting me, and using me for footstools, and threatening to make gnome-kabobs out of me (how they would do that when i'm not a gnome is beyond me!!) ... but I'm not a gnome!

Thanks, not trying to moderate shit or be a dick, just trying to shoo the ponies into the proper corral.

It's just not good for the site to let things get this far out of control, then it starts happening everywhere and we no longer have any categories at all, I might as well just take out all the different sections and have one humongous non-stop forum. But then, everyone would stop using this site because it would make no sense and just piss people off who tried to use it.

Technically, Fumtik started the thread, and as the OP has every right to ask it to go back on topic. Since he has participated in quite a bit of the thread, I don't think he has minded the way it has gone. Personally I don't care. You wanna lock it, lock it. I had my fun with it already.

And this is ok. All we are trying to do is fine tune the site so it creates the maximum possible entertainment for the majority of users. We aren't trying to strictly enforce rules. The goal is just to keep the train near the track most of the time. Derailment can and will occur, now and in the future. Usually, corrective actions will only be taken when things get completely out of control, or when someone complains based on a right they have under the Site Rules.

In this case, I was merely sharing my opinions. So no need for anyone to be defensive or worry about moderation. We are still just trying to fine tune this site.

I've said it before and I'll say it again LFG. You are way too sensitive about anyone saying anything that might maybe just slightly resemble a disgruntled comment.

What I said was made in jest of you, since you love to run around and make sure everyone is happy and content and understands how the rules are being enforced, etc etc etc.

I know this thread is.. erm... weird. The flames stopped a while ago. And like I said, i don't care one way or another if it falls off the face of this earth, tho I will miss reading how fat and ugly I am.
