I wanted to toss this out there in case this is not a server-specific issue...do people on other servers have problems with ninja undercutters? For lack of a better definition/description, these people wait until odd times of the evening to place things on the broker 1 silver piece or below the next highest seller.

I can appreciate that people want to put things up as the lowest price on the broker so they sell fast (ex. collectables or crafted items), but undercutting by a ridiculously small ammount strikes me as an annoying practice that ranks up there with node-humping.

The reason I ask if this is server-specific is that I never noticed this on nektulos...but it is fairly widespread on kithicor. The worst offender here is a guy named Kahling (this wouldn't be a good eq2flames post if I didn't name names). Any people have similar experiences elsewhere?

I have 5 level 70 crafters but no longer craft because of this..

This would not have happened before they destroyed crafting with the changes at the beginning of DoF. That killed the crafting community, and we are now left with people dumping shit on the market for just above cost as they macro through the levels. Someone trying to make a market in a craft cannot compete with EverCraft.

I told Calthine I would stick to complaining about raid loot from now on, so I'm out of here.

Man, don't get me going, or I'll end up digging out those flames I did against Beghn from just after DoF was released, I think some of them had 2 inch high bold text. Besides, flaming raid loot is a full time job by itself! :smiley-happy:

I had the great honor of getting to spend some time with Paul (Frizznik) at the first Fanfaire. The guy is just unbelievably talented and creative, you can almost see the ideas spinning out of his head when he talks. I'll always believe that the fixes he made to crafting back then, during it's darkest hours, ended up saving thousands of crafters who would have otherwise left the game. I'll always be a huge fan and have the greatest respect for him.

Actually, the market's not near the mess it was since they re-introduced TS Writs. Now the problem is that 70% of our stuff is undesirable.

The last 30% sells pretty good....

That reminds me, need to see if my totem undercutters got their stuff back on the market.
