Estoofeuli of Nektulos...
...because he's a freeloader who sucks at his class, and he thinks everyone in mastercrafted gear or better buys plat. Our conversation in story form:
"Estefoolio, why as a level 70 Necromancer are you showing up with gear that is lvl 42, 53 , 50 , 59, 42, 52, and 57 to raid Labs? That's horse [#$%@] mate"
"Grats on getting the Adept 3 hearts made, but it is wrong to show up with gear as poor as yours"
"Because my guild sucks?"
"You going to buy me better gear?"
"Your guild doesn't owe you free gear. We're not in your guild and we don't owe you free gear either. You can harvest raws for mastercrafted gear, or even buy treasured gear that's better."
"What the [#@*%] do you think I do?"
"Obviously not putting ANY effort into showing up with anything more than a pair of dice to roll on loot is what I think you do"
"Is this like some sort of elite thing? I can't start at the bottom and work my way up?
"You're starting at the bottom compared to someone 10 levels below you. You are currently below the bottom"
"Everyone who comes is supposed to show up with more than what you have."
"I didn't come without having all adept 3 skills and mastercrafted gear as a minimum. Let that last word sink in. MINIMUM."
"It's not about being elite, it's about being able to show up and do a proper job"
"Well, sorry I don't by plat, but I work my way up."
"EoF made getting legendary gear pretty easy"
"You haven't work hard enough yet"
"You have not even scraped the bottom of this tier yet"
"And, um, no one buys plat here (invisible thought bubble: you douchebag)."
"I've been on EQ2 for like 8 months, but as far as what your saying, you can [#@*%] yourself"
"This is a RAID you signed up for, not a picnic underneath the Claymore statue with cute little bears and dancing elves"
"Why do you think I'm doing these raids? To get better gear."
"You haven't done the work beforehand to deserve a spot to get better gear"
"Showing up to raid with gear that is lvl 42, 53 , 50 , 59, 42, 52, and 57 is disrespectful to every other person here who came prepared..."
"...and paid their dues in the form of too many repair bills over the weeks, months and years along the way to learn all the zones we've successfully completed."
"To top it off, you have the nerve to sign up for MMIS raids too? You don't even deserve to be on this Labs raid."
I hope the stupidity that is my life and this little nugget of drama has brought you a smile this day. Estoofeuli, you may bite my wang. You have been weighed, measured, and found to be 115 pounds of whelping, boyish retard. To everyone else, it's okay to give people a chance but if they won't put in the bare minimum effort, please don't tolerate it. It allows them to falsely believe it is acceptable.
Sincerely,
Ulric
