Wow another thread about Slappa…Not a huge surprise because yes he is a mouthy tool who believes he has to flex in open channels. Hmm, not totally unlike the creator of this thread. I find it funny that you feel it necessary to bait a 17-year-old kid into some “attempt” of a battle of wit. His reactions are typical of his age and in uprising we consider that before making statements regarding the subject.

To his ability: Slappa/Savin came to uprising as a very rough character. Couple that with his attitude, I must admit I personally found Slappa lacking in more then one way. Like any player who comes to our guild and we find them not up to par we spoke to him. Slappa despite his entire outward attitude was found to be open and very trainable. He listened and learned. He took the brunt of a guild of brutal critics. He took this and grew. I will tell you this, I will take someone with questionable ability, but with the ability to learn over some of you self proclaimed masters of their characters ever day of the week. Currently he has found a successful position in our guild as our MA and does his job with vigor. Are any of us perfect? No, and like the rest of us Slappa continues to learn from his mistakes and improve daily.

Legate, I find you lacking sir. You attack someone whom you consider to be weaker then you for personal amusement. Uprising will support all its members until the end of time. We, and I will lash out at the people who believe it necessary to attack players in our guild. Keep mouthing off from the safety of your computer and hide behind the fact you a lonely moron with nothing better to do then berate a kid.

Now, what you don't seem to realise is that Slappa never learned shit. If he did, SEVERAL people on the server wouldn't get tells from him daily, harassing them.
Its not me who takes joy in *baiting* people its him.
He'll rub your face in the dirt till you attack back and then suddenly he's the victim to you?..
Now, this thread wouldn't exist, if I didn't get tails daily from Slappa asking me to die, go fuck myself, or exclaiming some new peice of loot he got from a zone that should be been cleared 8 months ago. /shrug

If your guild can take a blind eye to Slappa's behaviour and pass it off as satisfactory, you've got something seriously wrong with the leadership of your guild.

I guess it wouldn't be so bad if he stood to get his lashings, but as was the case yesterday, he mouthed off to people in channels, as usual, and when the channel heated up he dissapeared from the conversation and people from your guild told us how naughty we were for picking on a 17 year old.

Point of the fact is, when Slappa can talk shit, (Back it up, which he NEVER can, he justs pulls out the *wtfpwnyou kthxbye* line,) and then take his beatings when he's rediculed for it, I'll have respect for him, as other people will I'm sure, but until then, he's just some idiot teenager whom should have been grounded from the computer ages ago.

This has been addressed and will be again. Dealing with him on a daily basis as we do in both vent and chat we have seen improvement and I will only speak to that end.

A blind eye you say. Well thus far a leader has addressed you in a constructive manner. I will, as a leader of the guild, address these issues. We take no blind eye, as previously stated in my post (read carefully) we have no confusion on the fact that slappa’s vocal representation of the guild can use some work. I would argue you and many others vocal representations of your guild could be found lacking also. Do I sit in channel and call you out repeatedly? My friend, I would find enjoyment if my life allowed me the time to do so I must admit, but I also have little to no desire because I don’t care what you want to ramble about when it had no real consequence to me. The leadership of our guild is sound.

I watched this conversation from the beginning. What I saw was a kids poor attempt at humor turn into your excuse to flame him in open channels. No more, no less..

In conclusion while we don’t condone his actions we as a guild do support our members. Slappa is working hard to improve and I have seen a huge improvement over just a few months ago. Do I think that he should be sending tells to anyone about anything that they deem as unwanted conversation? No, and if you receive these tells please feel free to contact any of the Uprising Officers so that we may address these issues further. Also, please do not hesitate to /ignore slappa….

What I find funny is that while you and the other leaders of "Uprising" berate Slappa on a nearly daily basis, he continues to act the same, and say the same dumbass shit on a day to day basis. I know you and Sameth have yelled at him, I know for a fact that Sameth told him he was making the entire guild look stupid...and yet, it continues to happen. (I'll add here that my RL hubby is in Uprising, and that would be how I know what your guild is doing and continues to do)...
And of course, I"m sure you remember me because I was in your guild as well, for all of...2 weeks, if I remember correctly. (I joined because my hubby did...I knew nothing about the guild, and from day one I knew I didn't fit in because well...I don't get the whole "Kthnxbye" and "Pwn'duintheface" sense of humor that you all display throughout guild/group/raid chat and over ventrilo.)
Anyway, back to Slappa (and some of the other members)...
This past week I log in and recieve five different tells from various people who were in mistmoore catacombs, asking what I had done to Slappa to piss him off. Apparently, the night before he (and a few others from "Uprising") was talking shit about me, my dps, and the guild I'm currently in and love (Tainted). This was being done in /shout for whoever was in the zone to see. (And unlike Slappa I have friends in game who tell me these things, whenever they see someone bad mouthing me...not that it happens alot, either...this was the first time, actually) Anyway...my point is this...I wasn't even logged in and yet he felt the need to talk shit about me? My husband wasn't logged in that night either...would have prolly made no difference however, as Slappa has no sense or wisdom.
I'm the first person to admit that I can use improvement/advice (so long as it's constructive and well thought out...and not an open attack/harrassement) I'm also the first person to admit that my dps can always be better, and it will continue to grow because I'm putting forth the effort to make it so.
Another point is this...the majority of members in "Uprising" are in their teens, and so you can expect immaturity etc...but Slappa takes immaturity to a completly new level, and it's sad really...although you all have done great on raids, etc...he brings you all down to that level, and in turn, it makes you all look as mindless as he does.

Your statement Legate was made in ignorance. Uprising is rather new so it would be quite impossible for us to have done these things 8months ago. I would also like to point out that, you have the ability to place anyone in this game on ignore. Exercise that ability if you don't like getting tells from someone.

We are not taking a blind eye to Slappa's behavior and neither do we condone his sometimes unsatisfactory attitude in the channels. What we do in-guild as a deterrent is no ones business but Uprising's. Also, you Legate yourself participate and cause much of the same as Slappa. So I would ask, Why do you think you are so justified and above Slappa that you should come here to make a post about him when, you and several others who constantly berate him and attack him into responding, should have their own posts in this very section.

I was there Ani that night, I don't remember seeing anything said about you. I did see Slappa speaking about Tainted because of some comments that were made by Cloudrunner. If you have proof that he did specifically say something about you when you weren't around to defend yourself or disprove his talk. If you have a log or such to show that he did indeed say something about you I offer my apologies if that is what you are after with your post. However, what was said about Tainted by Slappa that night was provoked by Cloudrunner and I don't condone Slappa's actions but I will however not come down on him for it.

Let him know to get the fuck over himself. You guys haven't done shit to keep him from doin what he's doing. You just have a mighty old laugh afterwards. Nice to know how problems within Uprising are handled =)

It's unfortunate that this is the post I feel compelled to make as my first on this website. I've known Slappa/Savin/Banjo in-game for quite some time, and, until the other night in Mistmoore, really had no problems with him, even though many others do. In fact, within my last guild, of which I was a leader and Slappa was a member, and in my current guild, Tainted, I found myself trying to get people to understand that Slappa was mostly a good kid, but just runs his mouth of sometimes. As I said, that all changed the other day...

Since joining Uprising (perhaps even before then, I'm not sure), Slappa, on an almost nightly basis, sends tells to Tainted's guild leaders with such eloquent messages as: "I hope you and Physt die in a fuckin fiery car crash!" or "I'll fuckin kick you in the teeth, Shianne" or "You're guild fuckin sucks!." Until the other night, I had turned a blind-eye to all of that. Upon entering Mistmoore Castle, my chat channel was littered with shouts between members of your guild and, I believe, Tranquil Rage...I made a snide remark about children going to bed (sue me!).

At this point, Slappa started in about Tainted, and about how we all suck (yadda yadda yadda), and that Tainted recruits Uprising rejects, that's why we don't kill the same things you guys do...and that maybe Animia, an Uprising reject, and her dps and heal pet would help us kill Mayong. You see, I didn't say a single thing about you and your guild, but Slappa, in usual fashion, took an opportunity to jab at Tainted. It is THAT remark, that has caused the current strife.

So now, any time I or any of Tainted's leaders make ANY sort of comment in 60-69 chat (and I assure you, they're not about or directed at Slappa), he takes the opportunity to make a snide remark. If you wanna justify his behavior by stating that he's merely a 17-year-old, so be it...but that's not anyone else's problem, and I'm certainly not going to put anyone on an ignore list for that. It is Slappa who should just shut the fuck up...and if he chooses to keep baiting people in 60-69 chat, then I see no end in sight. I've known Slappa in-game for a while, and I think he is an attention-starved kid.

Now, I have never had any problem with anyone in Uprising, and had never had a problem with Slappa...but as Slappa is wearing the Uprising guildtag, anytime he opens his mouth and makes remarks about an individual player or another guild, it just makes Uprising look bad. Do I partake in drama at times? Sure. But I don't attack individual players or guilds...does it really bother me that Slappa does what he does? Nope. It's all just words on a screen. Play on!
